i got this laptop 2 years ago and i must say it is very good laptop consider to his price good keyboard smooth screen and very good speakers the camera isnt that good quality but no one care about laptop camera so lets move on the fans getting dirty easily so the laptop will be overheat and run slow so you need to clean them every year if you are using this laptop rapidly like me the battary life is the best on this laptop it it can hold for 12h,,,, 6h if you are watching a movie and 2,5h if you are playing a game(it depents on the game but i play league of legends with ultra high quality) so yea i recommended this laptop so much the only issue for me is the fans that everytime you need to clean them you need to do alot of work to make it happend. but overall 9/10 not bad at all if you need any question just ask me
If you are using windows OS never buy a laptop with 8GB RAM and Sata HDD. You must need atleast 12GB RAM and an SSD HDD. The performance will be much better if we are using an SSD HDD.

i have a ideapad 510 i7 7th generationit has a metal body and very less flex to the screen
just sucks that Nvidia releases gddr5 and ddr3 versions of the 940mx. just like the gt 1030. why not put something like a 940mx-s? gt 1030s? for the ddr3 variety. but nope they rip people off with a tear down version of the gpu. laptop sold with a 940mx but doesn't state which version, I prefer to steer clear of that. even in desktops.
Don't buy it. It has GPU throttling problems in the 940MX version. Fuck lenovo.

I'm not looking for that much in a laptop but I just don't know where to start looking. I'm a student studying science so all I need for a laptop is just a good keyboard (type a lot of research essays and notes), fast speed (?) the problem with my old laptop is that it took 150000000 years to load something. We have to do a lot of online research in school so I hope speed is good. So annoying. Also, I need high battery life. Preferably thin laptop to carry around! Can someone recommend a good laptop?
