Nice rig! Can the Lenovo Duet use a USB LAN adapter for a wired internet connection while Chrome OS Wireless mode is disabled and toggled off? There are some situations where speed and performance are paramount, and a stable wired connection is usually faster than Wi-Fi. Any clues appreciated. Thank you for informative video.

In my experience, the lenovo chromebook duet is pretty good for school work + has a powerful mediatek chipset inside which makes things better.

Picked up one for less than $200. What a deal! I cannot find anything to fault given what I paid. I own a Surface Pro 7 - i5 with 8G. My only true laptop is an older MacBook Pro. I will get the newer model with the Apple chip. But for now, my circa 2014 MacBook Pro still works. I run MS365 on all so even with the Lenovo, I can check the various applications I use for work without having to take my work computer. My new travel duo is the Lenovo (especially on planes) with the Surface Pro. I finished a terminal degree on the MacBook, so for sentimental reasons, I will always keep it in the house with me.
Finally got one for my son. Couldn't wait. For the oled version. Probably will get the oled version for myself.
As of right now, I am looking into touch screen Chromebooks to replace my HP Chromebook 11 G5. My current Chromebook has a couple serious issues and I need one that has a touch screen so I can continue to make music. The Chromebook Duet may just be the one that I end up buying. I am actually writing this on mine, I got mine $299 with 128GB of storage, as walmart has a $279 64GB model, and it is great. For developers or power users, look up how to add zRAM, and make SURE YOU ADD 4GB of zRAM, as it will immensly help you VSCode or Sublime text as it's ARM these are the 2 that run very well.
It's ok, it likes to just randomly shut off sometimes.

I bought this almost a year ago. So far it's been a great companion for college work and entertainment. I think it's a perfect secondary device if you commute a lot, so it's really good for students. If they made a second updated version with better specs I would upgrade in a heartbeat.

Viewing it after over a year and this is still a wonderful device for the users. This is the result when you use good Mediatek chipsets.

it's good, but if you're on a couch and you're using your laptop at the same time. it's gonna be annoying as hell putting your laptop on your lap and using it in pc mode.

omg, I've been wanting to get a new iPad Pro and now watching this video makes me want to get this Chromebook tablet, it cheaper its touchscreen like the iPad you can connect your keyboard with it without buying a keyboard separately as you do with apple, I love it now I want a Chromebook tablet that's way cheaper than a brand new iPad Pro. My question is, does it come with a pencil, and if it does that's a great deal.
there is no pencil for this tablet. you know how ipad has an apple pencil and samsung has their s-pen this lenovo chrome book duet has no pencil for you to draw on it

I had this chromebook and I needed to return it. It was fine, in almost everything, but the pen was so dan sensitive with no way to change that in the settings. It drawed even when you were like 3mm above the screen and that was a huge dealbreaker for me. But if you dont care for the pen, it really is a solid device for a solid price
