I had the 1978 Lego 316 Fire Ship, and she could float :) Trying to put motorised oars on it didn't work so well, ~ (bath water make motor not motor good.) 5 sealed hull pieces, (a bow, a stern, and 3 midships,) meant you could make derpy short boats with just the bow & stern :) It came with 2 heavy keels too.
WARNING: Do NOT open cockpit canopy whilst in flight.
He said it will not float unfortunately the submarine at first I was like OK what do you think do you think submarines are supposed to float they’re supposed to go underwater and then I rewatch and then I hear him say you can deploy a mini figure in it and I’m like oh it unfortunately doesn’t float so you can put a mini figure in it while it’s on the water I would rather it not float because then you can actually like be in a 4 foot pool and just go under the water and like push the thing around

The biggest floating boat are the really old pontoon boats, because they are modular and you can connect as many as you want.

This is a cool set and all but that's kinda steep for the price. Bought the Coast Guard one a few years back (60014) , that's my biggest boat. Love Lego boats, still wanna pick up the new diving yacht.
I can imagine the base of the ship being used for a battleship build

When he says they wont float doea he mean they wont float up right or that they will just sink, because plastic will float
