i think they put to many studs sticking out on the trailer
Well im in the US and the set is not $30 it's 39.99 plus state tax which puts it over $45 and you still dont get the extra car and minifig

Why can't all builds be of the same quality with Lego? They just try to hit some sweet spot on piece count and price and ignore details on these kinds of sets. Somewhat thoughtful engineering done on the trailer for the car ramps but the cab is 1980's plain Jane with just a steering wheel, no gear shifter, no doors that open, no seat. Lazy. As for it only coming with one car. they want you to buy 2 more sets.

You should consider comparing this set to set 31113 Lego Creator Race Car Transporter. It's a 3 in 1 creator set, and I think you'll find that the race car transporter is better in many ways. It's a truck and trailer with two () race cars. The piece count is similar (328) and the price is better ($20). The only downside for the Creator set is that it has zero minifigs.

Do the truck and car even fit on the new roads properly, or are they too big? Pretty sure 6 Studs plus axle width is too wide to fit two of them side by side. Also, that blue brick in the truck being visible is geez, at least put a black one :(
I Really dont like that the car is so much bigger than the truck. so i would say 40, with a bigger truck and maybe another smaller car, 2 minifigs are right. cars transported this way usally dont have owners yet.
I don't like this. The trailer is basically 10 studs wide. And that is way to wide. I agree on the connection of the trailer, that thing needs to standardized in Lego so that you can interchange trucks and trailers.
Why are they changing the trailer hookup mechanism again?

I wish I knew what TLG has against car doors XD Considering how Lego packs as many ugly basic cars in everything (and the one here is a great eexample of really ugly Lego car design), any kid with more than two models is likely to have one extra, so the decision to only have one and sell the whole thing at an incredible not overpriced off the gazoo cost ist a good one. I'd say this one's okay really.
I can't emphasize how much I dislike that trailer.
now drive that truck on their new "road system" Lego really must get their act together. the new sets are mostly overpriced. Some sets are ok-ish in terms of design, but for the price nah they are overshooting to compensate for losing customers to cheaper brick brands. Well they 100% could optimize their cost levels to compete, it's no longer a monopoly so adapt to it period!

Maybe they re trying to lower the price of the bigger sets to make them more afordable, and so you buy 10$ sets to go along with them
