I just ordered some bodyography glitter pigments and you know what they are a dupe for? The Hourglass scattered light glitter eyeshadows! And they are less expensive too! It is exactly the same format, the same formula, and it also has the little disc inside!
Your eyes looks great, as usual, but your blush is fantastic!
I tries a brilliant eyes shade and ended up with glitter all up and down my face lol
I have the Mac paint pot in vintage selection. It’s a beautiful shade in the pot and when swatched but I cannot get it to perform well on my eyes. Not sure if my skin tone is too close to the under tone pigment or what but it feels like it just doesn’t show up on my eyes. I’ve used fingers, brushes (synthetic and real hair), and even a sponge tip applicator and nothing is on my lids, just glitter everywhere.
Any help on tips and tricks to get it to show up?? It’s such a beautiful shade
have you ever tried the Wunder2 shadow sticks? Would love to know your thoughts! I also love the Julep ones!
Thank you for this video! It was very informative
Hey Shelbey! I LOVE your hair color! Can you share what it is? I want a warm brown shade like that! Thx
I think the tag started from Karima Mc Kimmey (I always misspell her name) though. It was a really nice video.
I thought the LM Caviar sticks were good until I tried the By Terry Ombre Blackstars. Specifically the shades "Misty Rock" and "Bronze Moon". They wear perfectly for the whole day and they are stunning.
Hi Shelby. Have you tried the Smashbox Always On cream shadows?
✨We just filmed a DRUGSTORE One and Done✨ We love the Revlon ColorStay and L’Oreal and Ulta shadows too...great video! 🥰
I need this eye look! It's gorgeous on you. Do you have a makeup how you do it?
Hi Shelbey, if you are still reading comments here, could you recommend a shadow that looks like those shimmery shadows you just reviewed - kind of a wet, transparent look, but at the same time has non-glitter (shiny, but not too obvious) sparkles to it? I would prefer a dry product, as cream shadows tend to dry out fast on me. But any recommendation will be appreciated. Cheers!!!
What shadows are exactly on your eyelids in that video?
I just got some "Hardwired" eyeshadows from Nars and they are AMAZING❤❤ I wear them as a "one and done" shadow..
The only thing is they don't last quite as long as cream shimmers do I guess because they are powder🤷🏼♀😁 But, I'd love to know if you've tried them and how they worked for you
I laughed out loud a little when you said you all have seen these eyeshadows or eye shadow tutorials over and over.... I have never seen one of your shadow videos, just bare minerals complexion videos... this caught my attention and here I am.... I guess I was thinking was... hey don’t forget about us newbies 😁❤️
Has anybody tried the jouer eyeshadow creme crayon ?? What are ur views?
I was JUST thinking about this holy sh*t I bought like three of these right after the vid
Hope you can send it to me tati😁😁😁
I DO NOTTTTTTT LIKE CIRCULAR PALETTES
3:12 well you definitely did Dupe it with your volume one pallet Which is very odd! 3:37 The colors from the Bobbi Brown palette!! if you actually look at the colors they resemble quite a few colors in your actual eyeshadow palette Tati beauty volume one so how can you sit there and say those colors or not unique or great?? Is very confusing so you re-create colors that are almost identical if not the exact to these ones in sephora and Bobbi brown?!!!?? I just think that you need to watch what you say because you choke on your words you’re contradicting yourself is these colors are almost identical to the ones in your pallet!! Just saying 8:42 even that pallet your colors are exactly the same the Brown shades the shimmer like I’m so confused
I MISS YOU
its really difficult to put circular palettes away especially if you have limited space. I have only a limited amount of space for makeup so having annoying packaging just doesnt work for me.
i love circular palettes! i think they look soooo pretty and vintage
We miss you 😢😢😢
I guess the warm toned shadow palette don't look good on you or make you look sort of pale because your skin is cool toned. So I guess that palette would look better on someone with a warm tone skin with yellow or golden undertones as opposed to rosy or peachy undertones. But that's just my opinion.🤐🙄
This is my first Tati video and might be last .... 🤷♀️ just not feeling her vibe and her color preferences are not mine.
Beautiful love u.
I miss you so much tati!!! Hope everything’s well, hopefully one day you will come back & if not you will be missed forsure!
I actually prefer a tiny blush, because I use it so rarely that a big one would intimidate me to own. I just get a fluffy enough eyeshadow or highlighter brush for getting in to using it. (I have rosacea, and I’ve come to love it, so usually I just leave my face bare, except concealer for my dark circles and as an eyeshadow base. A bit of highlighter for the more glam looks.)
Square palettes for sure
I don't like circular eyeshadow palettes either and rectangular shapes or square shapes for the eyeshadows itself. Lol.
I agree they're all a bit lacklustre and pricey. My boyfriend bought me 4x I ♡ revolution chocolate pallets. They're only £8.99 from super drug in the UK and you get ALOT for your money and the shades are highly pigmented. I just did a clear out of my makeup bag and the junk in there wow
Hi, is there a tutorial on your eyes in this video as well? Love it!
IME Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palettes are poor quality. I notice this since she sold her company. :(
My first shout out girl love watching your channel 💯 I enjoy the pros you always give props to the brands that rightfully deserve it and then your honest opinions about less than fantastic products that are out there despite the brand. I know I can always find dependable references here for all things cosmetics because I just about give up after I spend 60-70 bucks on a palette that is a disappointment and i don’t make these purchases often so It’s a treat and so I know I can always trust Tati! Thank you girl your the best..fr love the Scott Barnes videos he is amazingly brilliant and so talented. Funny pair you two provide so much inspiration and more confidence to my life! Ty for the positivity and entertainment. Much ❤️
😭 we want you back in our lives !
The Mercury Ombré Star is fantastic.
Great video! What lip color are you wearing??
Perhaps I just missed it but would LOVE to know which eyeshadow stick formula is better😊: Laura Mercier OR ByTerry??
The swatches are so helpful. Also it's great to hear about stick eye shadows from someone who actually uses them regularly. Much appreciated!
Wow! You did an outstanding job with the by Terry shadow swatches and the entire video, of course :) This has been the most informative one I could find regarding the by Terry. Keep up the good work and stay safe. -- Sally from Arizona
Love your style and your tips! you're also very beautiful :) lovely stick colours and make up look! exactly what I wanted
I just found your video and I love your content. Now I can’t decide between byterry misty rock and Laura Mercier amethyst. Are they very similar?
Very well explained video... thank you. The lipstick colour looks good ...wondering which shade it is 😊
I have to say that this is the *_BEST_* video I've seen on these sticks! You even took the shots of the swatches on your arm and showed the pencils with clear names! THANK YOU! 🤩
I have a question for you: You say that the By Terry sticks don't budge. I have heard different from a few others. The LM seems to be solid, but I have heard mixed reviews about Terry. I have eyelids that are a little on the oily side, only slightly. Do you think this could be the reason the Terry sticks are a little wiggly on some people but not others, as in more oil on the lids causes the sticks to crease and such? What's your professional opinion on this?
-Signed, a makeup freak who is on a budget and doesn't want to pay for a stick that won't stay put. LOL, I'm trying to put together a travel makeup collection and these shadow sticks are a MUST HAVE. ❤
WOW, that copper is the _perfect_ shade for your skintone. I know why you love it!
Kiko Milano makes fantastic eyeshadow sticks. They are made in Italy, less than 10 bucks each.
I bought a Laura mercier stick today at tj maxx. It was 5.99
Uh, I just subscribed, you are so naturally pretty, that's how I imagine a decent make up to look! What lipstick are you wearing in this vid?
I just bought the caviar stick in caramel per your recommendation! Also interested in the Bobbie Brown stick in sand dune...can I also use the latter for my waterline, like caramel?
Thank you!! This vid is SO helpful with great swatches 😘😘
Love your look & tutorial also!!
Do Copper & Burnished Bronze have glitter particles? Love those shades, but with sensitive older eyes can’t wear any glitter anymore, just shimmer...
And do you use eye primer with these? I love my Nudestixs, but they sometimes crease little bit too much. 🍃🍃
Happy I found this with you showing the Caviar sticks. I saw Mandy use one in Sand Glow I believe the name was and my eyes are so sensitive I can't us anything but matte. I was happy I purchased it at the recent Sephora sale as it doesn't budge nor bother my eyes (YEA) at all and when blended in looks so nice with a soft subtle brightening color with very subtle shimmer. I also got Au Naturel matte for covering my veins. LOVING these sticks wanted to see the colors you are trying . I was thinking of buying another shimmer semi neutral tone.. Thank you and thank you Mandy.....
Thank you for talking about eyeshadow sticks. I hardly ever see them used or mentioned. I have been finding my eyes get irritated by powder shadows so I am trying cream shadows and I completely forgot about the sticks. I have a few so I will be pulling them out and playing. I am going to try the caramel stick trick also, thanks for that tip!
Great video! 😘😘
I have three matte By Terry. Ombré Blackstar shadow sticks. They are a matte black, a matte pink called Bubblegum, and an off-white called Nude Milky Way.
Great video. Question, I had a Bobbi brown eyeshadow stick but it really rigged at my wrinkly eyelids and would not blend. That said, is Nudestick the creamiest ?
Why so many angry people in the comment section?
Does anyone else have crease issues? Also it’s not as “easy” to use as she makes it look. I love the idea of it, but it needs a new formula
you can do the second look with any matt eyeshadow, the first & third look terrible, are you serious about posting this?
She was really stabbing at the first models eye 🤭
Can the caviar stick be used as a base for powder eyeshadow?
God the lady is so rough on the models eyes, yikes. The makeup wasn't even that great
Wanted to buy one, but don’t think I will now after watching this video 😅.
1st look -raccoon eyes
2nd look -nothing in the air
3rd look -my cat does it better
Omg! Are a full fledge makeup artist? Gosh, you should not be
So bad! The first model looked like she got punched in both eyes. The third look was an utter joke!! Is she really a makeup artist?
She appears to be seriously heavy handed... almost like she is banging on the eyes 😖
The make up artist seems like doesn't really wan to work that day, I can c from sloppy work here.
What a terrible MUA. She’s totally put me off buying one of the caviar sticks.
I have a few of these. They go on like a dream, blend softly and evenly. Look gorgeous for the first few hours....but, seven or eight hours later, they look crumbly and patchy and the colors darken. They most certainly DO crease. Even with a good primer. Not impressed at all, for such a pricey product.
Terrible application. Looked sloppy and not good at all. Shame because I heard these sticks were actually really great.
Where would you get these
Shelbey Wilson does amazing looks with these. Check her out!
Did anybody else notice how clumpy that mascara looked on each of the models? 😬
