Just got this and cannot get snare to stop buzzing. Tried screws & masking tape. Very annoying buzzing sound vs a tightening snare sound. Seems to fix... returning this thing.

Yesterday I tried both at a music store. Although I am generally a fan of Meinl products, I did not like the Headliner cajon. The snare sound could be heard even when I was playing the bass beats. It was rattling unpleasantly. I tried three different Headliner cajons, and they all did this. I then tried the Aspire cajon. It costs a little more, but the sound was sure lots better! Different people like different sounding instruments though, so it would be best for you to try both.

Ich bin zwar gitarrist, aber ich finde es super, dass ihr auch videos über perkussion sachen und so macht... find ich echt spannend... und ein cajon kann nun wirklich jeder musiker gebrauchen

Hi, I am a drum kit player looking to transfer to the cajon for busking, jamming and maybe some acoustic gigs with my band. As we play (indie) rock a good bass sound is important. Would the aspire, or pearl's primero fit my needs, or would i need to look at high priced models? Thank you :)
