COMPARATIVA DE BONGOS (HR / LP MATADOR)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'd like to know if there's a video about Meinl bongos vs. LP bongos.
FWIW I never claimed to be a percussionist. These are entry-level bongos, the first I ever bought, and I had a chance to compare them side by side and wanted to share my observations. That is all. Have a nice day.
It's all good man... don't listen to the others. I appreciate your time to compare these. :)
"Clayves"?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's pronounced "Claw-vays"...
WOW i agree there is a big difference in sound quality
Nice review, Its funny cause I have a pair of GP bongos but one of the heads riped and it was cheaper to buy a new pair then replacing the heads, so i bought the exact same meinl bongos hahahaha so its look seeing a review of my instruments
meinl all the ways
Nice job. I am looking to get a cheapish bongo set and this really helps as far as sound.
You have to tune them much higher to make a fair comparison. Also, putting them on the table for playing is not a good idea, it will mute the sound.
Hello, I like your approach, but I feel obliged to tell you -- and I will try to be constructive -- that the things you pronounce as "clayves" are actually called "CLAH-vays." You will definitely lose some street cred if knowledgeable musicians hear you call them "clayves." And if you'd like to learn more about them, you could do worse than starting here: https://youtu.be/nCv1Zu9Iocw Bright moments!
Thanks for this review!
Thanks for reviewing!!
No rim hits?
I had these & they don't sound bad. They have the professional vintage bongo sound to them. I am not against LP Aspire bongos, but for my style of playing now prefer LP Giovanni galaxy bongos. For entry level bongos these are the best bongos you can get that don't sound entry level but professional.
Estos q medidas son ?
comohago que suene mas agudo?
I have these. There a blast to play.
I saw this one at the local music shop (Hoffman's Music, Unlikely you would know what store that is it's nowhere but at where I live it's a local shop) I saw that pair over at that shop and I'm getting it for christmas. I'm glad I got to hear what they sounded like
I like mine, they sound great and the steel rings are much sturdier than the similarly priced bongos from Gon Bops or even Matador. Looks better without the ribbing too. Pretty heavy though.
they're not compleatly made of wood, are they?
Much like bad beer 🍺,they are missing the advantages of having full bodies

Too expensive
plz put the bongo unboxing vedio .
Are these really compact? By that I mean do they save space? Regular bongos can be placed between legs while seated. These require carrying around a stand. For people who mount regular bongos on stands they do save space. For people who don't these don't seem to have a benefit. They do have a great sound. Something like these to replace regular congas would be a real benefit.
Hey LeeTheTaekwondoBoy, Thanks for the kind words. I will be doing more cajons and will look into that one. All the best. P :)
Love all your review, it's very informative. Do you mind reviewing the LP Soul cajon? Thanks man!
Saludos!
Me quedo con el hr
