5 best hot plate review first one they show is induction burner. There is a big difference. You cannot use all pans on a induction burner but can with hot plate.

朋友们，绝对不要买这种自动开，自动关的电炉子 -“Sensi-Temp”, 这个发明太愚蠢了，根本不能煮，煎，炸，煮面，我用过一次，马上就想退，太糟糕了。
You can remove the center...by using a pliers...open it and cut the wires...connect them together and then return the top using the pliers...now the burner will work like a normal burner. You can bend the wire connector into itself...so it makes a permanent connection and replace it back. There are videos on this. Remember...safety first...disconnect the stove first. God speed...
I was just going to say this is a apartment Stove who ever designed this work of art should be ( ASHAMED ) of them self, Always do your research before buying anything like appliances, that will cost you hundreds of dollars, $$$$$$$ If you have a apartment your just kinda SOL.
Don’t blame GE (or any other manufacturers of coil top stoves) you can thank “big brother” for making sensi-temp a UL rating that manufactures must comply with. All stoves with coil tops must be made with these burners as of 2018. I’m sure lawyers, insurance companies, and or politicians had something to do with it. Do yourself a favor and replace the sensi-tech coils with standard coils and this stove will work like a traditional appliance that has been around for 70 YEARS! Geez

Just moved to an apartment with a brand new range like this one. First I had an f malfunctioning (never new what that was) paid $169 to fix. Now ( two weeks later) my large coil isn’t working. It’s a Frigidaire. Single mom & don’t know how to fix by myself and don’t want to spend more money fixing. What a nightmare is right. God help me with this life. If it’s not one thing it’s another. Working two jobs and still living check to check.
I hate these burners for the same reasons every one else does - plus if you try to use a small 8” pan, it can’t sit flat because the spring in the sensor will not retract. I am currently trying to find regular burners that will fit a kenmore range.

Since making this video the stove was such a nightmare I had no choice but to buy the Chantel cooking pan set, the pans work fine on the stove, only like once or twice shut off, so there should be a disclaimer when buying the stove that you must also buy the pans for the stove to work properly and then you should get a discount on the pans.

I wish my daughter had seen this review before she purchased it for me . It really a nightmare range . if there is the way that i can tell the whole world i would tell everyone not to buy the stove with this feature .stupid design .

Going stove shopping today....thank you for this valuable review. Only wanted a coil top due to my cast iron pans but I guess I'll buy a glass smooth top and switch my 2 cast iron pans for stainless steel. Reviews on glass tops have zero heating or maintaining heat issues. How these stoves passed quality control ? In my opinion , these are being sold in bad faith if they are unable to perform typical cooking practices the purchaser is expecting and not warning the customer prior to purchase. It's like unknowingly buying a new car with a top speed of only 40 mph. Ya it works but it's gonna take you twice as long to get anywhere .
