Once you get these headphones broken in they're great! But for some reason the noise canceling stopped working. Can anyone help me?
I bought these at Canada computer. Originally I was going to get the Audio Technica ATH-M50X but the guy said these were better and they were on sale for 150$. I was not allowed to test both headphones ahead of time though. The Sales man said it was for sanitary reasons. So I had to take a leap of faith. So far I am happy with my purchase. Yes they are tight on the head. I don't know if mine are from a batch after klipsch reduced the tension or not I got them 3 days ago. They can be particularly uncomfortable since I wear glasses too and the tension pinches my glasses into my head.
Can anyone tell me if these are indeed better sounding than the Audio Technica ATH-M50s?
Just got these and so far not impressed. Still too early to say if they're good or not since it isn't fully burned in.
I tried these at work and they stink. the sound is awesome but they are extremely rigid and have a heavy clamping force, they are as uncomfortable as the beats pros but don't sound as good. also the noise cancelling suck compared to something like the qc15, also made the sound a lot worse. basically unless you have a head shaped exactly for these headphones don't get em.
These cans are going for £99 on amazon now. Great deal
"De-boxing" oh boy...
went online and started to here music from the producers the justice leage and wow was there a difrence also they had ausome clarity and basse on a 4th gen ipad which of course apple is known by enthusuist to not be quite audiphile,it was night and day,not so muffled, not as nearly as warm, and lack luster in the bass section and great clarity umph, great buy if coupled whith a good driveing player and a good sound signiture player
at first i though these headphones where somwhat crappy to what ive come to expect from other headphones and i still endded up buyings these new dor like 100 dollors when curently at my local brookstone they are like 399 or somthing like that, whell i tried a lot of sources psp go,htc hero,my gp32x wix kiosk tablets but all awful in sound
Would u recommend these over the Bose QC14
I'm wearing these headphone right now! Sound quality is better than anything ive every tried before, the luxury look to them also is very nice with the bronze finish over the sides of them. Only bad thing is after 30 mins of use they become unwearable, meaning that they get uncomfortable as shit.
PS: Beats are a piece of shit.
Those are some ugly headphones...
I'd have to agree that these headphones are a bit over the top in terms of unnecessary features, but Klipsch are a very good value for money brand in most cases. They're a small German (I think?) company that have been making music orientated devices for decades.. They've been making nothing but music devices, and in my opinion, they do a damn good job at it! :D
Klipsch is just so-so and slightly overpriced, I can say that 70% is genuine price, while 30% goes to marketing that we see it booming today in 2013. But I have to say Klipsch Image S4 earbudss is fantastic, other than that, again, i said "SO-SO:"
de-boxing? You mean unboxing?
DO any of you use an headphone AMP?
deboxing? lol isn't it unboxing?
I don't really like them they sounded way less than I expected. I'd rather stay to my Philips Citiscape Uptowns.
You like that, don't ya? LOL
Getting these headphones tomorrow. Bet they sound great
lier lier lier!.. :'( I trust you and bought this headphone and it hurts my spinal cord so bad.. the sound quality is the same as 20 bucks sony headphone and the noise cancellation is just a volume booster.. I hate myself so much now I am so regret for what I did how can you wear those huge heavy headphone in the gym!? are you going to swing you head off?!
people, here is all I can do to help you.. go ahead and buy it if u really think it's a good deal... :'(
Well, they're smaller than the full size beats, and the PSB's, but they are a full size headphone. They're by no means the biggest, but large cans are in vogue now anyways so I wouldn't worry about it.
Only you can say that. These are bombproof, but one to look at for not much more $ is the PSB M4U2. Better sound, perhaps not as bombproof.
R they worth the price?
really excellent review- answered all my queries in a thorough and accurate manner; so cheers buddy ..
Yeah, portable devices i know but hey, i like the sound of the headphones (and that there´s ppl and machines being loud as h*ll outside atm)
since i rearranged my furniture in a fashion that i don´t have access to my reciever from the cpu, i thought "what the hell" so i bought a Argon H2 to my cpu, and the faint white noise is gone!
I have not heard of that. Very strange, hmm. Noise cancelling is for travel mainly for portable devices, maybe it doesn't like the output voltage of your receiver.
Hey, i bought a pair of Mode M40´s and i really like the sound
But i have one issue with them, don´t know if its just mine or in general, when i hook it up to my reciever there´s a kind of "white noice" when nc is turned on, it´s almost like the reciever is putting out to high electric current through the headphone jack..
Ever heard of this or even experienced it yourself?
Not to much. They're not like the Dre Beats.
hey, does the bass drain out the mids and the highs?
Sure, check out the PSB M4U2's too.
great video thanks for the info I think I'm going to be getting these
I haven't tried them on games, though I can't see why they wouldn't work well. There is no option for surround sound though.
What about gaming on video games, do they work well with gaming and do they have an option for surround sound?
These are probably the most durable headphones I know of and sound good powered. I think the PSB's have the edge when it comes to passive mode as well as having a mode for just amplified without noise cancelling. PSB's cost more so it's up to you if it's worth it.
Honestly it's been awhile since I've heard them. They look more upscale and are more durable for sure, but probably are more neutral than the beats. Beats would have more boosted bass.
Would you say they are better than beats?
Had these.Thy r beautiful, durable and sound great,Specially with the noise cancel on.But I got a bit disappointed with the noise cancel,Bcause it worked for abt one month and half. Had to send the first one to recovery after that short time and got a new one.The latter did the same. Have to admit that I play music loud, but at a suitable level to my ears.If loudness was the cause,so why so powerful in the first place?Don't know abt yours, but I think they need to improve the noise cancel system.
Can I still get replacement earpads for the M40?
