I have a Colorful C.H81A-BTC V20 motherboard & am thinking on putting in a Intel Xeon E3-1226 V3 with 2x16GB DDR 1600MHz ECC RAM though I have no idea if the board would support the RAMs. 🤔😕 Because there are cases where desktop motherboards can run off server/ECC RAMs.

The main difference is the voltage difference. Pc3l has 1.3 voltage.

I got some cheap 2GB ram sticks off ebay lastweek and when i install it all i get when i boot up is a black screen.No idea what's up with it :( maybe its server ram i dont know lol. Its DDR2 800 tho.
