Actually im a bit worried about any kind of possible perf upgrade of my pc. GTX 1080 Ti (stock mode cooling / non OC) i5 4690k (air cooled 4,5k OC - 3,3 baseline) 2x 4gb RAM 1600 MHZ baseline - oc to 2400 MHZ Plextor SSD 128GB system (bought at 2016 or sth like that) 1tb 970 SAMSUNG EVO m.2 ssd Z97 97 MSI Gaming mobo My concern is the RAM upgrade. Mobo does suppport DDR 3 in oc mode up to 3300 MHZ frequency and i just can not find the package anywhere that has such speeds on them. Either 2x 4gb cause there is no 2x 8gb ddr3 ram with such capacity that i either know of or can buy. What would be the best suitable upgrade? Trying to get the very same 2x 4gb ram from the same producent (current one is Kingston Hyperx dont remember exact model nr though not sure how to check it properly).

so adding an extra ram slot into my laptop wont speed up my laptop unless the ram is currently hitting 100% utilizing? what about dual channel then? when i have many chrome tabs open, like 20, my pc becomes slower tho, which part is bottlenecking then?

Got a Bm450 steel legend board. My ram was running at 2k something, Boosted it to 3530, easy post. Ram says it runs at 4400mhz. I’m about to see if I can boost with this.
So in other words even though Intel says that the NUC with an 11th gen i7 processor can use 3200Mhz RAM, PC shops selling them as a kit with 2666mhz RAM sticks are being perfectly reasonable because the difference is negligible?
