Not sure, if he knows this or not. I5 supports maximum 1600 MHz frequency so there is no use of having a 1866 MHz Ram, it will work at par with 1600 MHz, so if you paid more for 1866 vs 1600 you got screwed bro! Check under task manager memory section to see the speed of your ram it would show 1600. So yeah, good luck bro.
