My stock speakers blew and I picked up whatever Best Buy had in stock they sound just like the 370Z base speakers lol
I don't know if the speakers (including the expensive ones) actually suck or your sound pick up sucks. There is no bass even though I could see the cone pumping. The highs clips terribly. I'm listening with a pair of KEF m500, which usually sounds decent enough with YT music.

What the average consumer watching your videos doesn't pick up on is, is that what you are not saying about a particular speaker and it's performance speaks volumes more about that particular speaker than what you are actually saying about it !!! GEEZEZ. 3rd time watching this vid and my goodness those speakers sound like complete garbage. I wouldn't put those in my car, if you gave them to me for free. Hell, I wouldn't even bother opening the box, esp. for that price range. Hell, take the JBL for the price. Same as infinity for less money. Spend more and get Maximos.

Love the kicker cs series, they're great for the cost, efficient and well made. You should power them with one of these https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item-169003-Pioneer-GM-D8704.html it'll give them a real 100 rms per channel at 4ohms,the amp is only about 220 bucks, a stock headunit isnt going to give them everything they need, you are only hearing 20 percent of what they can do, that stock Amp is probably only giving them 25rms perchannel, the difference will blow you away my man, its well worth it.

Cutting the wiring instead of just buying a set of correct wiring harness adaptors. Only a foolish kid does that.

The Adapter to install your speaker correctly is a Scosche SAC-656 Multi-Speaker Mount. You should replace those Speakers in you overhead with some Kicker 47KSC6504 Speakers and replace your knee dash speakers with those 43DSC6504's add a 4 channel 400 watt amp and you'd have some good sound cranking in your head.
