Please answer me -is Kenko Teleplus 2X HD Pro DGX Teleconverter for Canon EFcompatible with tamron lens18-400mm
I was wondering, so if I have a cropped sensor (1.5) and used a 300mm with 2x TC will it come out as (900mm)?
This one doesn't work with FTZ to nikon mirrorless camera, no aperture control.

Teleconverter is not a magic tool that can make longer zoom but just a STOPGAP!
I did not understand how exactly this works, please help. I own Canon APS-C sensor camera (1100D) and 50mm f/1.8 lens. So if I use this teleconverter, will I get 50x1.6 (crop factor) x2=160mm effective focal length at f/3.6 I was considering to buy Samyang 135mm f/2 but considering the prices, "Canon 50mm+Kenko 2x teleconverter" is way cheaper than "Samyang 135mm f/2". (I am mostly interested in night sky photography, so I can compensate smaller aperture with tracking and exposure time, I suppose)

Honestly, despite what you're saying, I think the images without the extender actually look sharper than the ones with the extender. Maybe you messed up the labeling in some of the shots? Or something to do with Youtube compression? E.g. the shot of the church, the left side appears to have more detail. Are you sure that was the shot with out the extender? Because in the next shot you switch the sides.
Can I combined 2 no of 2x Teleconverter? Do I need to modify the Teleconverters or I can just stack them directly. Planning to use it for planetary image stacking for my Nikon 200-500 lens
I have the same tamron sp lens and a7rii and EOS rp , I am using a mc11 but focusing is not as good as on canon. Which adapter are you using for canon to Sony?

Kenko website is terrible and is way behind the times,,, when checking compatability on the site they dont even list newer cameras such as Nikon D850 nor some lens such as 200-500 F5.6 nikkor. So now I will buy a diferent brand Terrible Kenko
I just purchased the Kenko 2.0X PRO 300 Teleconverter DGX for my D700 Nikon and found that it works on my old Nikon lenses very well (50mm 1.8 and the 70-200 2.8). On my other Nikon and Sigma lenses, I encountered so many problems with auto-focus. I didn't know of these compatibility issues when I bought the lens; however when it is compatible, the operation is really good and fast. I have yet to see the sharpness results, but I don't expect it to be as good as the original lens I'm fitting it on. Glad to see this video though!
