If you were to put the Kenko DGX Teleplus PRO 300 2x N-AF on an older version of the Nikon 80-400mm f / 4.5-5.6D ED (2000-2013), would autofocus be able to work on that lens like the video you showed.

Thanks for posting this up. I wonder what degradation there would be in image quality with this brand of teleconverter, as opposed to the Nikon version. Seems to be quite a reduction in focus speed though.

Nice video the Kenko 1.4 support using Canon EF-S lenses on Canon DSLRs. I saw a video where a 1.4 TC was used to put a Sigma 10-20mm EF-S Lens on a full frame body without any Vignette. I 'd love to get my Canon 10-22mm EF-S lens on my full frame body if it would work. Of course now it would be a 14mm lens at the widest, but still very wide. Thanks Philip

ummmm hate to disagree with ya my friend but they are not all the same, for example if you use a tamron converter with a canon, lets say 70/200 f2.8 it will work, however, its highly NOT recommended, the class of the converter sticks out way to much, almost touching the class of the lense, so if you should slightly knock or accidentally bang the end of the lense, you will likely shatter the glass of either your lense or both, very bad advice my friend

Honestly, despite what you're saying, I think the images without the extender actually look sharper than the ones with the extender. Maybe you messed up the labeling in some of the shots? Or something to do with Youtube compression? E.g. the shot of the church, the left side appears to have more detail. Are you sure that was the shot with out the extender? Because in the next shot you switch the sides.
Can I combined 2 no of 2x Teleconverter? Do I need to modify the Teleconverters or I can just stack them directly. Planning to use it for planetary image stacking for my Nikon 200-500 lens
I have the same tamron sp lens and a7rii and EOS rp , I am using a mc11 but focusing is not as good as on canon. Which adapter are you using for canon to Sony?

Finally a great review. You saved me up some bucks. Teleconverter Pros: higher focal length. Cons: loss of sharpness, details and amount of light, increases chromatic aberration. So still better to make a precise focus and crop the image, instead of using teleconverters. Do the focal length really matter for you? Buy a better telephoto lens. It will more expensive and heavy af, but at least it gives better quality.
