Thumbs down for not showing how to program the control ring. Anyone can figure out how to attach this. Especially if they have spent so much money on this setup.
Hey Charlie: couple of key elements; 1) how the control ring can work with ISO, shutter speed, aperture based on menu settings. The shutter button has to be pressed halfway down for the control ring to work on the R5 - I'm assuming it's the same for the R6.

This adapter is horrible on the c70. The radial banding is insane and makes the image unusable. All my efs glass has it. Worse in lowlight. It looks like the looney tunes logo

TbonesTech you deserved more subscriber. please continue what you are doing,. because of you i buy my DLSR that was T7i last year june. i was choosing between sony a6300 vs t7i but my budget short for a6300, then i considered a6000, then because of your review i decided to buy t7i,. and thank god i choose t7i over sony a6000,. now i'm quite semi-professional photographer now, and done over 20 weddings over a year using a t7i only. because canon lenses are cheaper compared to sony,. im able to upgrade my gear much faster as a beginner and able to upgrade my output as a photographer thats give's me more clients. thank you soo much Tbone. i hope to see more reviews,.

IMPORTANT NOTE The speedbooster will ONLY accept the EF lenses. EF-S lenses WILL NOT work on the speed booster. On the other hand, the regular Canon brand adapter is compatible with BOTH EF and EF-S lenses. Sorry for the confusion :(

Hi Freely, I purchased the Viltrox adaptor and what I found was a bit un-nerving. I put the nifty fifty on it and did some test shots and it was kind of late so I turned the camerea off for the nite. The next day about 5pm I was going to do some more test shots only to find out the battery was dead. So I put my spare in and did some more shooting and turned the camera off to resume in the morning. Well the battery was dead again (I used the same battery after recharge). So I contacted Viltrox and received split answers, one said they will replace it, the second said basically it's a known issue but there's no fix for it yet. I received the new one in two days and put it on to make sure it's works, which it did. Soooo, I'm going to leave the adapter on but with a freash battery tonight and see what I get in the morning. I will advise.
