This very heavy, smelly and unwieldy machine is so frustrating.....the rollers fly off and the front cover pops off all the time, today it won't go back on....because I have slate floors and pets the rollers get filthy...the "cleaning stand" does not clean them, they need to go in the washing machine or they smell like a filthy flannel. If the rollers are a bit dirty and you go upto the skirting boards it leaves a big smear...Personally I would like to send it back. Its lying on the kitchen floor because the cover popped off again, and again and again. Frustrating. I shall just get my mop and bucket and weep...
Looks like the bissell crosswave does a much better job tbh

The problem with all the demo videos on this product is, all the floor seems flawlessly cleaned except for a few articial dirt mark. How about things like hair or small particles? Also, it is not too wasteful to do one machine run for the 2 roller? Any alternative way to clean

This machine is nowhere can compete with Bissell Crosswave. Bissell does a great job.
My machine is not sucking the dirty water. It leaves the floor wet and there is water in the dirty water tank. How do I fix this?
Hiya, I have new tiled floors downstairs with underfloor heating with a dog/ cat and kids. After mopping I can now see all the grout between the tiles getting dirty. I am now cleaning and revealing but was looking to buy a wrt floor cleaner that would keep these grout lines from gathering all the dirt. would you recommend Bissell or karcher cleaner for this?or any other cleaner? would really appreciate the advice thanks
The Bissell Crosswaves is 100% better than the Karcher. Have you all seen that YouTube video where the guy compares Crosswave and Karcher in a big mess test Karcher can't hold a candle to the Bissell. I think the video is in German, but you get the idea of what's going on!
Would you recommend it for real wood floors? I bought a steam cleaner but it doesn't seem to have enough oomph, whereas the Karcher is rotating while it works isn't it
Made up I watched this first before forking out. I have toddler twin boys and time of the essence when cleaning. Take way too long to clean.
A thick layer of dried dirt, food, or whatever doesn't magically wipe up unless you wet it first. Water is the universal solvent. Several passes with the machine apparently do the trick as it eventually wets the dirt enough to remove it. Better to dribble some water on the thick dirt first, wait a couple minutes, then run the machine over it and it will come up in one easy pass. Same with dishes, incidentally. Let them soak for a couple minutes in water and you can usually rinse them off almost effortlessly.

Why do they keep engineering rollers with a gap in the middle? Plain stupid. Means you have to go over two or 3 times to clean up the 1cm bit that it missed. Same with vacuum brushbars.
Crosswave Pet its better than this one. Crosswave alloweds to stand up alone meanwhile a phone call attend. Karcher doesn't, and it's not recommended left horizontally because injury the motor. The Crosswave's microfiber it's much better than Karcher. Karcher just create this machine for competence issues. Thank you for the video.

Just get a shark steam cleaner they're much cheaper to run and you can use their most expensive model to clean above your floors as it has attachments. They're really useful for cleaning the oven, bathrooms and kitchen backsplashes!

Piece of crap, broke down 2x during 1 year (only using it once every few months on 2 room appartment). Furthermore any trash bigger than a grain of sand it just pushes around and does not vacuum.
Because of the outrageous claimshow dirty a normal mop is normal people clean their mopmakes you not want to buy it

hi I have a question now I have tried it and seems pretty good but when I took the suction head out I couldn't put it back in at all it keeps falling out why is that?
Tried it twice on tiled floor. It's being returned. Followed cleaning instructions as per several videos. Excess water on tiles which became slip hazard had to be mopped up with micro fibre mop.
The rollers and the cover go on quite easily. With the cover off it really pulls across the floor as I assume it should do but soon as I put the cover back on it reluctantly struggles to move and then stops altogether but the motor is still going. It's very frustrating .I'm going to phone karcher laterRegards Mark.
Yes, rollers are correct, they roll when I take the bottom cover off but don't move at all when clipped back on. I've wetted the rollers slightly too regards Mark.

Im in a bad mood! I was ready to post something critical, because your review was quite slow and a bit wordy.However, I was mistaken ! Your video proved quite useful! (Especially for someone who is averse to thumbing through the multi-lingual instruction book. We've had one of these for a year or so. We have a large area of Quickstep laminate flooring and 2 dogs, so it can get quite dirty, particularly in the winter. The laminate has a grain effect on the surface, i.e. its not smooth/flat. Dirt gets into the grain and is impossible to get out without something like a nail brush, which as you can imagine, on a large floor area is a real chore. We bought this machine in the hope that it would do the job, but it doesn't, to the point that we've now stopped using it in favour of a steam mop, which cleans just as well after the floor has been vacuumed and is much lighter to push around. The grain still needs a periodic nail brush session though!

Mine broke after 12 months and now after another 7 months the gears slip again. The gears are actually not weak but its very hard to rotate the brushes because they dont slide easily and that eventually destroys the gears. The vacuum inlets blades rub against the brushes which causes intense friction. They needed to redesign the plastic frame so that the blades stay further away from the brushes so they can spin freelyPSAnother 4 months and the clutch is slipping again.
Gets your floors clean and wash basin filthy... Pass.
Thanks for the review. I'm thinking about getting one from Costco. Can I use Bona floor cleaner as a substitute for the expensive refills. This product reminds me of printers;they get you on the ink refills.
I have high gloss porcelain floors with the "cloudy" look that is very difficult to remove, is the motor powerful enough to allow for spray buffing without burning it out?Cheers
How much water does it pick up. At best it picks up 50 ml out of 200ml. It struggles to even pick up bits. At best its got a good rotation. I returned mine and im going to try bissel. It leaves too much water on floor. Maybe mine was faulty. Did u refil the water? Cause u did allot and have got allot of water left
