I have the steel K40. Love it. I put a piece of black grip tape on that bare steel on the front of the grip. It made a huge difference for me, even with the rubber grip. The MK40 has plastic grip panels so I used a Hogue slip on grip. It was too small and slick, otherwise.
The K9 is a really nice looking weapon. I was a S9 fan until I saw this video (still am actually). Thanks for providing the weight. Looks a bit heavy for a conceal but still a great looking gun. Wish they offered the K9 in all black. Appreciate your reviews, thanks. (and yes, I did subscribe ).

If you would like a dose of sticker shock, go to Kahr and find the wood grips for the K9. I call it "near theft". Nearly $75.00 including shipping.
I have had a MK9 for 7 years now, bought from a friend who bought it for his wife, she thought it was too heavy. Paid $400 for it, according to the FFL it was shipped to I stole the thing. It has been my EDC for that 7 years and has been subjected to all kinds of weather, snow, heat, etc. Even has had coffee dumped into it when the cup falls over in the Jeep. It has never had a FTE,FTF ever. I train with it often putting around 10,000 rounds through it since owning it. The only thing I have replaced was the striker spring and recoil spring on the recommendation of Kahr, it worked fine but I figured preventative maintenance was a good idea. I also put Lakeline G10 grips on it and TruGlo TFX PRO Tritium night sights to replace the original night sights. There was nothing wrong with the originals but I removed them to have the gun Cerakoted a very deep bronze color and replaced them then. Finest firearm I have and still own, my Kimber fan friend even likes it.
I love all of my Kahr Arms firearms! Really wish that they would make this model with an aluminum or alloy frame to lighten it up a bit. That would really be a treat

Hey Dan, not sure if not sure if you will see this because its so long after. But you should totally throw the stainless guide rod in and also get the stainless base plates from Kahr for the cm9. Replace that plastic base plate, I bet it would look great. Just throwing that out there! I just did it on my Cw9 I really like the way it looks, the base plates that is.

I have owned a K9 2003 Elite for several years. It is my daily carry gun. Field stripping it has always been difficult, until I watched your video! Now, I cannot believe how ignorant I have been in holding the Kahr to keep the slide positioned properly to remove the slide stop! You made it look easy, so I got mine, unloaded it, and tried it exactly as you did. WOW! Easy. For this one reason I am subscribing to your channel. Thanks for making a chore enjoyable.

The K9 was not the first Kahr first Kahr series was the E9. I have an E9 and it has been my EDC since '97. Kahr has a great gun!
Just picked up my new K9 today making it my 4th Kahr to my collection, looking forward to shooting it this weekend. These have been awesome firearms.
K9 is a good gun. I can't find fault with it. And no jams yet.
I have this gun as gun and my MK9 are my absolute favorite guns. I carry my PM9 or P380/Glock 42 though to preserve my K-series gun from actually having to possibly use them.
The premium series are desirable but are twice the cost of the CW series. An excellent firearm nonetheless.
