Anyone else watching this while using the jawbone minijambox?
I know I'm 4 years late to the party However, I picked one of these up from microcenter for $15 since Jawbone went under after the lawsuit. These sound GREAT if you have the right device streaming to it. I use my Macbook in conjunction with an app called Sound Control by StaticZ (I have no affiliation with the company ). I originally got the app to control the optical out sound etc. when connected to my home sound system for my Macs. When I got a miniJambox and paired to my phone the sound was not that loud or great. I brought it with me to work so I can stop by microcenter on my way home. Before returning it, I connected it to my Macbook which already had the Sound Control app running which applied a custom equalizer to the output stream. WOW! the sound was louder and the BASS was amazing for this little speaker. You have to disable EQ Clipping protection on the app. In addition I use the built in mic for conference calls and webex meetings. I take it with me during presentations and my colleges ask more questions about how this speaker sounds than my presentation. I trashed my logitech mono bluetooth speaker/mic from my office and have this under my monitor now. The sound is superb with the live audio feature on. The left and right distinction is amazing. It is as if I have a pair of speakers couple of feet apart. I've spent way more time than I should playing around with the Equalizer to really push the speaker to its potential. I did pick up another one to try paring them together. This did not work so well since I have a magic mouse and keyboard which I presume is causing interference. The sound skips between the speakers etc. I am totally happy with just one of these under my monitor.

I got this new for $25, so I cant complain much, but the only disappointment i got was the sound level
ordered 3 of these! F*UK this SH*t, volume so LOW IT RIVALS MY S5 CELL PHONE! NOT A JOKE. Heard it's do to software update, killed volume and NEVER fixed issue! avoid! I now have to battle return or resell at a loss for kids or library use.

Great review Jim! I certainly don't consider not having a USB wall charger in the box as a CON. Anybody buying this speaker surely will have a few lying around. Just bought this on a Best Buy Deal of the Day for $39.99. Can't beat that. I plan on using it on the road and around the house. Listen to a lot of podcasts and background music.perfect for this speaker.

i just randomly stumbled upon this video again since im thinking about picking one up for a family member as a gift . anyways i highly recommend using the program "dfx audio enhancer" for both pc and phones (ios/android) it makes everything sound so much better especially with bluetooth speakers since it totally negates the sound degradation you get over bluetooth. i would say it even makes it 15-20% louder. no joke check it out. i put it on every computer and phone plus all my friends and family's gear. they should pay me for all this free advertisement lol.
if you press the power button once powered on and release it tells you the battery percentage.
Two Jawbone Minis in multiplay and stereo mode is awesome. Beats even the Bose Soundlink mini.
