daily lenses are worth every penny to me, considering i only wear contacts like max twice a week anyways. not having to worry about cleaning them, storing them, etc. and the difference in comfort is AMAZING in comparison to monthlys.
Am whearing monthly contacts for several years,whithout trouble.

I love my monthly lenses which I can sleep in for the entire month- its like not having anything at all as I pop them in on the first of the month and take them out on the last day. Have used these for 8 years and love them. One important issue that i have with dailies which the doctor fails to mention is the enormous amount of waste involved in using daily and individually packed lenses. Seriously- we all know that the ocean are drowning in plastic so I think its an important issue to factor in.

Dailies are expensive.. even though you know it's good.
I use dailies but irregularly, mostly for out of door activities like xc skiing/cycling etc. Is it ok to use a pair of dailies intermittantly. Say I was out half day cycling and took them out when coming back, put them in storaga sol'n and use them again for same, day following?

This video when my eye doctor showed me it helped me just a little with getting my eye open wide enough, seeing how that girl had her middle finger a fair distance below her eye instead of prying directly on the bottom lid as they’ve told me to do though everything else lined up. The issue I have is that I cannot snugly fit in the contact as expected for beginners, I’ve noticed that the saline solution burns my eyes a tiny bit and it seems to be the cause in wanting them to close while not having enough control because it makes the contact too slippery especially with how they tell me to place it on my finger. Do you have any tips on gaining more control of the contact, alongside any other liquid solutions that may be less stingy to the eye?

Could I rinse the case with water instead of the solution before air drying?
It's not really that hard to put on and take off. It's going to be tough at first especially when you're new to contacts. It took me half an hour at first, but with practice, you'll be able to put it on in 10 seconds. Just make sure you change your contacts and cases regularly. Whatever you do, DO NOT SLEEP ON THEM! Always take them off before going to bed or you will run the risk of eye infection.

But somehow, as the lenses stay on your finger (and everybody says that's not the case, it can't be, you had dirty or wet hands, it's your fault, you should shut up), as they never stay on your eye but on your finger - you don't see any better.Don't buy them.

Acuvue Contacts definitely worked for me. The others I tried never stayed in place and fell out. I am glad to find something that works for me.

Do they melt in the hot? i mean in the hot summer, i live in caucusus and it pretty hot there in summer its 24-40 and sometimes 49 in the metro, so wont they melt or blind my eyes, and can it damage eyes while plauing basketball or cycling even when shaking? Can those kind of accidents make lenses to damage my eys?

This video is so weird because I came here to learn how to take car of my contacts better, but the brand this guy is boasting about is the worst product I've ever put in my eye. Like after 2 hrs of wearing my eyes are watering, itchy, red, unfocused, and feels like i have a thick sheet over my eye. But he likes them....why? They are so uncomfortable

I wish my eye doctor was even half as thorough as you are.. They didn't tell me any information at all about which lenses are best, the options I had or even what level my prescription was.

I used to wear Acuvue, and switched to Air Optix like 5 years ago. Best decision I've ever made. I tried Biofinity and for whatever reason they just refused to seat properly.
Bioinfinty's are the best but a bit expensive. 3month supply= AUD 150

For some reason, all contact lenses have been irritating fo me ever since I've gotten a -3.25 prescription EXCEPT for Coopervision! So Biofinity have been the only lenses I have been buying for the last couple of years.
I have a question, if i wear and sleep in monthly extended wear contacts for 6 nights straight do i have to throw it away or is it still good for the rest of the month as long as i clean it once a week?

You forgot to put contact lense solution in the case with the contacts. If you do not add solution they will dry out and be useless.
