Monthly Contacts VS Daily - Which is better?
How to Wear ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses
Best Monthly Contact Lenses (My 3 Favorites) | Doctor Eye Health
Johnson & Johnson ACUVUE 2
🔷💥Which team are you on? Monthly lenses or Daily Lenses?
Am whearing monthly contacts for several years, whithout trouble.
My left eye is worse than my right eye so I just get the monthly lenses 🙃
I have monthly contacts do I change them once a month or every two months ?
Daily lenses keep slipping of my eye, My Oasis lenses feel a little tight but at least i can see
I love my monthly lenses which I can sleep in for the entire month- its like not having anything at all as I pop them in on the first of the month and take them out on the last day. Have used these for 8 years and love them. One important issue that i have with dailies which the doctor fails to mention is the enormous amount of waste involved in using daily and individually packed lenses. Seriously- we all know that the ocean are drowning in plastic so I think its an important issue to factor in.
im glad I started with dailies. Everything about them seems easier and fits my lifestyle .
well I have 2 month contatcs on a year box, so I don't get this video
Monthly, more like 3 month lenses...
What about yearly contact lenses ?
so like when they said daily contacts,do you need to wear it like everyday?
Dailies are expensive.. even though you know it's good.
I use dailies but irregularly, mostly for out of door activities like xc skiing/cycling etc. Is it ok to use a pair of dailies intermittantly. Say I was out half day cycling and took them out when coming back, put them in storaga sol'n and use them again for same, day following?
I only wear daily lenses. In my past I had monthly, but I think they were thicker, so I got faster dry eyes from it. And as you mentioned, monthly lenses get dirty and are not very comfortible after some time.
Also, huge factor for me is that with daily, not wearing contacts for a week or two at a time wont be a waste of contacts. That just means I don’t have to buy contacts for those weeks. Also, if you’re just trying out contacts, you can buy enough for a month instead of for a year
I was using monthly and irritated my eyes . After I saw your videos how to clean the contacts I think was not claiming them well because my eye Doctor didn’t explain me well how to do it. He said take them out and put them on the solution at night. I was not the correct way to cleaning them . I change to daily contacts like I love them. I use the Clariti . That I love them. When Covit19 hit I stop using them because I didn’t feel safe. Well now I found a new eye Dr and I asked for my contacts RX but my old RX still the same even so I need a bit more for reading but the Dr order them a bit stronger well they were to strong and I keep my old RX for my contacts.
What about daily lenses while traveling?
When dailies are not around 3-4 times more expensive than Monthly's, I might consider them.
For someone that only wears lenses on rare occasions or switches between glasses and lens often I’d recommend dailies. I used monthly before switching to dailies. And I would find myself throwing out a pair of expired lenses that I only used maybe 10 times a month.
Folks. . . Don't ever buy Cooper Vision products such as Biofinity. They come out with miniscule tears which makes them easily "tearable." Hence you'll have to keep on exhausting your wallet.
This video when my eye doctor showed me it helped me just a little with getting my eye open wide enough, seeing how that girl had her middle finger a fair distance below her eye instead of prying directly on the bottom lid as they’ve told me to do though everything else lined up. The issue I have is that I cannot snugly fit in the contact as expected for beginners, I’ve noticed that the saline solution burns my eyes a tiny bit and it seems to be the cause in wanting them to close while not having enough control because it makes the contact too slippery especially with how they tell me to place it on my finger. Do you have any tips on gaining more control of the contact, alongside any other liquid solutions that may be less stingy to the eye?
#Saveraphl
Wow thanks perfect explanation 🥰😍🤓🤓
I need these!
I have acuvue 1 month replacement lens.. How much time I can ware this lenses a day ?
Isn’t it important to make sure your eye is clean before putting on contacts as well?
hadir sukses selalu semangat
Brand spanking new contact lens wearer, thanks for posting this online, Acuvue! Same one as at the optometrist's office! Gonna watch it until I get the hang of it!
Could I rinse the case with water instead of the solution before air drying?
It's not really that hard to put on and take off. It's going to be tough at first especially when you're new to contacts. It took me half an hour at first, but with practice, you'll be able to put it on in 10 seconds. Just make sure you change your contacts and cases regularly. Whatever you do, DO NOT SLEEP ON THEM! Always take them off before going to bed or you will run the risk of eye infection.
put you contact on your eye, and it stays on your finger.Poke again, it's fun, doesn't hurt your eye and never takes on the eye, but stays on your finger.Difference of poking you eye without a sense on your finger: it doesn't burn! But somehow, as the lenses stay on your finger (and everybody says that's not the case, it can't be, you had dirty or wet hands, it's your fault, you should shut up), as they never stay on your eye but on your finger - you don't see any better.Don't buy them.
Do you have the multifocal in coloured ?
Oooo god IM NOT READY FOR THIS!...
I got my acuvue brand lenses 4 days ago and I haven’t worn make up yet because I don’t know if I should take my makeup off first or take out my lenses first. Please help
Acuvue Contacts definitely worked for me. The others I tried never stayed in place and fell out. I am glad to find something that works for me.
I can't wait till the Transitions come out
Do they melt in the hot? i mean in the hot summer, i live in caucusus and it pretty hot there in summer its 24-40 and sometimes 49 in the metro, so wont they melt or blind my eyes, and can it damage eyes while plauing basketball or cycling even when shaking? Can those kind of accidents make lenses to damage my eys?
Is it normal to feel a tiny bit of discomfort in your eyes at first?
Use a paper towel not a bath towel.
Hi, it's my first time with contacts and I was wondering what's the easiest way to remove them? Thank you!
🔹Eye Health QOTD: Which type of contact lenses are you wearing? Do you wear monthlies, dailies or specialty lenses? Which are you favorite brands?
I know he's an eye doctor but the teeth though!! Amazing
Hi, can you review solotica lenses?
Which contact lenses with prescription do you recommend: daily or monthly? Can I have varifocal lenses?
Hii I have a question that my eyes have stigmatism and I want to wear coloured lenses so are there any lense company you would reccomend that they make them
This video is so weird because I came here to learn how to take car of my contacts better, but the brand this guy is boasting about is the worst product I've ever put in my eye. Like after 2 hrs of wearing my eyes are watering, itchy, red, unfocused, and feels like i have a thick sheet over my eye. But he likes them....why? They are so uncomfortable
For the day and night lens come in a toric lens?
I wish my eye doctor was even half as thorough as you are.. They didn't tell me any information at all about which lenses are best, the options I had or even what level my prescription was.
Air optix are my favorite
So you can buy your own contacts without purchasing through your Dr?
I used to wear Acuvue, and switched to Air Optix like 5 years ago. Best decision I've ever made. I tried Biofinity and for whatever reason they just refused to seat properly.
Bioinfinty's are the best but a bit expensive. 3month supply= AUD 150
I would kill for those eyes
For some reason, all contact lenses have been irritating fo me ever since I've gotten a -3.25 prescription EXCEPT for Coopervision! So Biofinity have been the only lenses I have been buying for the last couple of years.
I have a question, if i wear and sleep in monthly extended wear contacts for 6 nights straight do i have to throw it away or is it still good for the rest of the month as long as i clean it once a week?
🍀🍀🍀🍀
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cooper vision Biofinity - really like them!
My mother used to use bausch and laumb lens and now when I'm going to visit a doctor for contact lens she has already told me that she will buy bausch and laumb yearly contact lens for me. Btw I'm in High school (got promoted into 12th few weeks ago) and I'm 16 years old , will be 17 this September. Kinda excited and kinda nervous
