JOHNY is JUNK! I love it for 3 weeks and it breaks and the company NEVER honors the warranty! Watching the review I hope that pro aluminum is different and the legs won’t break. I have broken 6 of them or can I say they break themselves.

yeah i agree about the ball feature of the legs. i was going to get the other one you showed that had smooth legs- but from my experience the gorillapods grip better around stuff.

For a beginner vlogger, would you recommend the gorillapod 3K, or maybe go for something cheaper? I've heard they get "loose in the joints" and is pretty much useless after a while. Maybe it's better to buy a non-bendable tripod? But then again you wouldn't be able to attach to whatever you want to attach it to. I'm newbie and don't know much, just looking for a good beginners setup to start vlogging!
