I have been trying to find stuff to make my own mix but for now I have some pellets and a little dried fruit and I give him a little peace of apple every night and I have some seeds and I have some things for him to forage around the cage
So I use Mr Johnsons Mouse and Rat mix for my Syrian and it is made up of 16% protein, 4% fat and 6% fibre. I add dried mealworms for her (roughly 1-2 each day) do you think this is suitable? I also add herbs for her each week and offer millet sprays for foraging as well as occasional fruit, veg and treats

I use the Kaytee food from the wild nature's foraging blend. I was only doing pellets but I switched it up.

I havent gotten on yet but Im doing all research and getting two types of food for my hamster to choose from. One with bigger pieces (with small pieces included) and one with smaller pieces (that has a small percentage of big pieces)

I like to feed my hamster a daily sacrifice of blood from the finest shark I got from tackling with my arms and throwing it at my hamster with some salt and pepper, do it every 2 weeks and Bon apptit

This is just my updated hamster's diet and what I currently feed my hamsters! Currently the most recommended mix to feed any hamster is 50% higgins sunburst and 50% mazuri rat and mouse pellets!

Because the people at the hamster hideout said it was good

For my Syrian hamsterI have a half and half mix of a German food (the name has escaped me) but it has 18.08% protein and half Harry hamster. Every other day I feed 2tsp ,half scatter and half bowl feed, of his mix. Everyday I check his hoard to see If there is too much food hidden but he eats a lot of it. He also gets a small bowl full of veggies every other day. And about every other week he get some pasta. Is this a good diet?
