I just bought 3 of them, my nephew got on for christmas and i was very impressed of the sound and bass quality of this thing. So i just bought one for me and the other 2 for my sisters :).
Just got mine yesterday. Gonna use it on my work truck.

The charge 5 is coming Next year but I have the flip 5 right now but I feel like I should have went with the charge 4 with 20 dollars more idk if it is worth the upgrade I love my flip5 but I want somthing a bit louder and better idk if this is better

Is it just mine or does the charge 4 not charge using a type c to type c charger cable or fast charger type c brick I notice that it only charges with a usb cable that it comes with it’s a 2.0 to type c cable

2.12 pounds is not bad, i really want a charge 4 cause the price is really good and the speaker itself is really really good. i have a speaker that is loud too, but it doesnt have much bass, and this jbl charge 4 is better than my speaker but my parents are annoying me so im not gonna get it at my birthday, lol
JBL charge 4 is a waste of money to buy for what they're asking for. I just returned my jbl charge 4 at 129.00 plus tax (138.00) turned around and bought the anker soundcore party proof 50w speaker and it was 99.00 dollars plus tax (105.93) This little speaker is so loud that it almost hurts my ears ❤❤❤ sounds ten times better than the charge 4 , for less money. I'll never buy another JBL speaker again. They ask for too much money for tiny performance compared to other brands and that's sad because JBL has been doing speakers for a long time. Their speakers should be the best on the market.
I actually did hear the charge 3 next to the charge 4 and he's right the charge 4 is much richer and deeper in sound. I purchased it on sale for $129 and I'm delighted with it. It sounded better than the competitors in it's class hands down 👍 Really enjoy this guy and his reviews.

There's no such thing as too much bass, in my humble opinion.
In the other words, it is the best way to have it for free.
