I want one I'm going for it
I am thinking you have shredded a time or two.
Those spicatto legato runs you do are flawless man. Wish I could get lessons from you
Can look metal, but I like its cleans.
NIce dynamic & legato playing
I would like to buy a Jackson JS32 King V but I've some questions about the Tune and bridge because I see comments from people said that Floyd Rose Licensed is not very well, but... What happens if you want to change the tune for Drop D or C , Standar D, etc? It's a problem for their bridge or maybe I could have problems when I tried to change the tune?
I've had this guitar for a year(reverse colors)and if you want a Jackson V without active pickups I can't recommend this one enough. Not perfect by any means but a solid guitar.
I just bought this axe without the floyd rose. Those stock Jackson humbuckers sound really good. I'm playing through a Randall RG 150. Balls heavy for days
Shred on frets 20-24....it’s damn near impossible with the fuckin body in the way....nobody talks bout that
That's a beast!
Can anyone tell me hows the pickup outputs in this vking I've ordered this on Amazon
well fair play mate, i didnt expect you to play something like this, you just didnt look like that type of a guy. :D Rock On!!!
Der Kerl kann alles in Hand nehmen und es klingt Super!
good playing guitar
nice review!!!!!!!!
Dimmu Borgir want you...
Reverse headstock and thruneck please
Review for Shaun Morgan's signature schecter?
Shark tooth inlays or shark fin?
If anyone wants to know just how badass these things can be know that James Hetfield tracked the Master Of Puppets album on a King V and Mick Thomson tracked SlipKnoT's debut album on a custom one.
I really need to know. Where is this made? Deal breaker if it is from China. There is no "after 3 years" review. Thanks in advance
All that metal and you do the sweet child o mine solo? Not complaining just confused
A good leather strap stops neck dive
I really like this guitar good features at a good price
Bro idk if playing blues licks on a guitar like this is even legal. If you're playin that shit, play some van halen or randy rhoads.
Hello, do you know what the locking nut size is? I think it’s a R3 nut but I would just like some clarification.
What’s the name of these songs other than simple man I would like to learn them
I just bought one myself... Really nice guitar but needed A LOT of help to sound good... Worth the 300 bucks for sure, but plan on new pickups and the jackson floyd rose sucks ass, will have to replace with a real one...
Let me express my biggest thanks to reviewers like you, who got the balls to share the naked unplugged sound with us, cause for to the people who know, ths is all that matters, when choosing a guitar.
Biden is NOT President elect. RACE HAS NOT BEEN CALLED.
I tried one of these the other day. Felt like a cheap Chinese toy to me. It was black with white bevels, it was beautiful. But the finish had a buff mark embedded at the Apex of the V cut. Just felt like it would break in my hands. Wish it were made in Indo...
One tip man. Not that much of a critique but I noticed you play alot with your arm instead of your wrist Best to relax it a be smooth when palm muting or it tires you out fast. Also, how difficult is it when playing high frets in this beast?
This is honestly my dream guitar im just a little scared because it has a Floyd Rose and also because I don't have $300 to spend I'm only 15
Good testing dude
Чей это Джексон? Американский? Или азиатская реплика по лицензии?
Hey, I want to get a second guitar and I’m looking at this one. Does it feel off balanced to you? I’ve been to guitar center but they don’t have this guitar and I can’t try it out for myself.
I remember when I was younger and I used to think JS stand for Joe Satriani 🤣
Niceee
nice review and test, you look like hetfield but you play like a Schenker XD such a clean nice tones ups the scorpions :P, but distortion better than hammet used to :P, mustaine must be proud of you men, also im about to recieve an jackson dinky for Christmas this year i cant wait for it :D greeting from mex bro hugs
4:53 what song is this?
There is one of these at a local pawn shop and I’m debating buying it, I think I could get it for 150.
I really wanted this guitar, however it seems to be really cheap, I was hopping that upgrading from my 150$ js11 to this 350$ js32 that I wouldn’t be having the same problems as my Js11. Anything you can tell me that would make me still want to get it??
I've found an Indian one for 150 bucks secondhand. What do you think of it ?
The JS32 King V was the first guitar I bought. I loaded it with a Dimarzio Super Distortion III in the bridge and Dimarzio Steve Vai Evolution in the neck position and they are red in color. I don’t ever play that guitar because I ended up not being very thrilled with the tone of the pickups, and I have ten plus other guitars to play. Maybe one day I’ll get around to changing out at lease the bridge pickup and start playing it again. It sure looks cool though!
Your guitar doesn't have white bevels ?
Thank you for taking the time to do this review. I am debating getting one as I can’t justify spending 3k or more for a USA model. I’ve already assumed it would need a new set of pickups and a good setup for heavier guage strings... subscribed.
how is this for slayer ?
Duncan distortions are good pickups. However, are the Jackson high output humbuckers good? Just bought this guitar from zzounds.
Did you end up changing the pickups?
Great video! The JS Series guitars are very good looking, affordable instruments. If you know what you're doing, which it seems like you do, you can make them sound and play great! But they will take some work. If you're looking for out-of-the-box awesomeness, save up for an X Series model.
I bought this guitar and noticed 2 weeks later it had a hair line crack at bridge mine is a string through not floyd can it be fixed
How is it for beginners
I just picked up a js32 king V a few weeks ago just for the hell of it but mine doesn’t have the slits in the backplate
as a metal guitarist im plainning to get a second guitar and i always wanted a king V
do you think this one is a good bet?
I got the same Jackson just today it arrived. I don’t really know how to fix anything on guitars and I ran into some problems with it keeps going out of tune literally in 3 minutes
The Flying V is one of the stupidest yet greatest guitars that exists.
Does it have the original floyd rose in it ? And If so is it a good floyd rose ?
Nice review, liked your video. I'm thinking about getting a King V, there's a JS32 King V Inferno Red around, it looks a bit different, the pickups have covers, and the bridge is gray. Would it be worth getting it coming from cheaper (I think) guitars like Ibanez GRG121 DX and Epiphone Les Paul Special II? These are the ones I have, as well as a Squier Strat from the 90's and I'm looking for something with a floating bridge but without busting the bank.
I bought the Dinky model a few months ago, it's a hard tail and I'm very happy with it. For the money it's nice. Thinking to buy some EVH with a Floyd in the future, which one do you recommend?
Love it I want a black king v because I like megadeath and a white one because James had one during the puppets tour two of my favorite bands
So, is she worth?
Ya get what ya pay for.
I dont plan on actually using the whammy bar like... at all.
Does the bridge hold tune for just normal playing?
Jackson JS series guitars are ok if you go into ownership with realistic expectations. One of those realities is that a $300.00 guitar with a Floyd is probably going to suck. Most Floyd copies at that price point lack proper heat treatment of the pivot point knife edges. They will wear quickly and cause problems returning to pitch. Even with a locking nut they can be very difficult to keep in tune.
Young players always want a Floyd bridge and usually end up regretting it. I have always recommended fixed bridge models for inexperienced/young players. Because the Floyds at entry level price points are typically junk. Plus Floyd equipped guitars are exponentially harder to maintain for inexperienced players.
A better choice in a JS series King V would be the JS32T. It's the same guitar but with a TOM style fixed bridge. The fixed bridge eliminates the hassles associated with cheap Floyd bridges. And fixed bridge guitars are inherently much more stable than tremelo equipped models.
That said, all JS series guitars will need some TLC to be the best they can be. I recently purchased a JS32TQ Dinky with full expectations of replacing components and doing fret work. And those expectations were realistic because the tuners and plastic nut are crap. And the fret work could definitely stand some refinement. But I bought the guitar on sale, fully intending to use it as a mod platform. I never expected it to be great out of the box. $300.00 may seem like a lot of money for a guitar but the reality is it only gets you a decent foundation that will need work. And sometimes it doesn't even get you that.
This guitar is cheaper than a gaming console but I still love to play it.
Mine has a hair line crack at the bridge but mine is a string through
Hi man ! Thanks for all of these informations. Would you suggest it me as the first metal guitar. I have experienced an e guitar with a 50 buckets strat. Would it be a good choice for the first metal guitar.
I can hardly find like actual reviews reviews on this guitar and this one had a LOT of info that is GOOD to have.
I almost impulse bought one of these and may still eventually. But I’ll go into it knowing a lot more. Thank you!
Thanks, great video \m/
After researching a lot into floyds and these jackson guitars, i have a strong urge to buy one of the 720 dollar Rhoads or King V $699 with a floyd rose special and seymour duncans . They have good reviews and for being 700 dollars and buying them off of Sweetwater, i really expect them to be good. The looks of the Jackson Vs and the floyd rose addition is just too much of an attraction for me and im just hoping they arent a waste of money. Only problem wpuld be the bridges getting worn over time becsuse of being the cheaper Floyd instead of an Original Floyd. Do you think they are worth the buy?
Hey man. Love the review. I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy this guitar and put a gotoh Floyd or Floyd rose special in it. Thanks man cheers 🍻
I buying this guitar now!!🙂
Wau,wau great!!
That's odd about your tuners maybe bad batch I still have stock tuners I play extremely hard they stay in tune literally for a day or two sometimes a week maybe I'm lucky ? Or I did a good setup
I bought one a while back brand new, sick guitar. Except i had to file a lot of the sharp fret ends, the pickups were microphonic, a few of the tuner washers broke after a month. None of those issues were bad, since those things can be fixed. Mine stayed in perfect tuning which I was very surprised. I switched out the bridge pickup for a Dragonfire 20 dollar pickup which was a great upgrade from the stock pickup. Also, I too felt that the King V felt like a toy compared to my Japanese Jackson.
I just bought one in the Army Green finish and mine is a beast nice weight tuners tight Floyd rose on point but don't really use it ....for the price I paid at 299.99 I have no complaints....but thanks for your input dig all your vids....
After seeing this video, I canceled my JS orders (Dinky and a Warrior) and bought 2 X series (King V with EMGs and a DKA-EX with Fluence). Fantastic video
I just got one without rose
Picked up this guitar not too long ago, and I fucking love it. The floyd rose kinda sucks because it's a pain in the ass to change tuning, but it holds the current tuning extremely well. Thanks for the tip on how to fix the neck dive as well, I attached my strap to the top right truss rod screw, and used an extra heavy pick that I drilled a hole in as a washer to keep the strap locked on. Also my amaranth fretboard is more of a deep brown and not nearly as purple/smoky like the one in the video.
Also if you plan on getting this guitar and using higher gage strings, you are going to need to get heavier springs to balance the floyd rose. I use 10-52 gage and replaced 2 of the 3 springs with heavy tension ones I got from amazon.
shit i just bought one from sweetwater....now being yours is a pile of crap and mine being sent through the mail its gonna get beat down to a giant turd.....guess i will send the shit show of a guitar back and spend more cash on something better....army drab green with black hardware gotta say she looed dressed to kill......
