Picked up the white js22 Dinky DKA few days ago, It says crafted in China, I guess to get the us made ones you have to spend some more bucks. I'm pretty new to playing guitar, played some basic stuff here and there, mostly a drummer and trumpet player at heart. I paid 200.00 us for mine and I think for the money it is a great deal for what you get. Sounds and plays nice so far. Thanks for the reviewing this guitar.

to me the Jackson j222 jinkies just as good as a 3400 hot guitar it's how you set it up and how you put the strings on but to me it's just good why pay four or five and get it for two
I just bought one of local music store it's a Jackson with the satin red finish with the maple neck I didn't realize the guitar I fought the price was kind of strange 140 but I looked at the back and had a Merc sticker was a factory second or third but the guitar plays good just got a few little quirks but not bad for a hundred and forty

Ive been playing guitar for years and i got one of those with a hard case at a pawn shop a few years back and its definitely my favorite guitars. Ive been planning to change out the pickups and the tuners, but haven't gotten around to it yet, but I love it. Looks good, sounds good, feels good. I would definitely recommend this for any beginner, but I would for experienced players to. Great guitar

Hey guys... i need some help. Im modding my jackson dinky. It has one general tone and one general volume knob. Im gonna put a SD sentient/nazgul pickup kit on there and id like to be able to coil split the nazgul.. i dont really need a tone for the sentient. So it would just be the coil split(tone) for the nazgul and a general volume knob Is this possible and if yes... what do i need for this?? (Im new to modding so im kind of confused)

Mine was a giant pile of shit.. major fret sprouts took hours to get that to where you didn’t wind up Bleeding all over the fret board.. pickups were shit sounded worse then $15 eBay knock offs. Neck was warped.. litterally was impossible to keep tuned had to replace machine heads.. the cut outs for the pickups were jacked up and not centered with the neck and body, the uneven. Floating bridge is a piece of trash. The soldering looked horrendous. Over all the brand shine guitars makes a guitar for $150 thats 1000x better quality with flawless playability.... my biggest issue with the Jackson is the fact it was Chinese built. I’ll never buy a Jackson again

this $200 guitar plays and sounds awesome, and im comparing that to my 78 strat with EMG’s , my 88 strat with duncans , and my gibson les paul standard, and my epiphone les paul with gibson 500 and 496,... this jackson plays and sounds awesome, i totally agree with the crappy tuners, and the input jack is janky too
I have a problem with the 2 Point Fulcrum Tremolo Bridge. The Arm won't stay in place. Just comes off. Is there something missing?

I have 2 acoustic guitars and have been looking for a low budget electric guitar and this is only 200$ so I looked up a review for it on google and this was the first to come up. i ordered thit today, should arrive by the end of the week. i still have a bill lawrence l500xl pickup which i will install in this. i've been playing for 15 years now, i started on a jackson js30rr back in 2005, bought it for 300€ back in the day, after a job at a restaurant during summer break to afford it. this one was 200€ and i'm amazed what good quality instruments one can get for these quite low amounts of money. i have guitars in the 4 figure pricerange, which are nicer of course and better quality, but just to rock out, maybe play a private gig at a friends bbq in summer without worrying about damaging some expensive instrument, these are great and from a pure playability standpoint nowhere worse than the fancier stuff. the necks and bodies are made on the same cnc mills as the more expensive ones, so that's no point of concern.
Any idea which locking tuners would fit in this guitar with the no or the least amount of modification?
