How does it record at night?
Hello, Yesterday I made an update, everything as in your video then the screen was white and it did not work anymore, I turned off the camera and now it can not be turned on anymore. Is there a way that she works again. Thank you Kurt

Good review, thanks for it. I have to say I disagree with the perceived quality, mine didn't record sound, had way too many pixels out, and out of three immersions, it hung on two, rather useless. Price was too good to be true, in my opinion :(
Can anyone explain to me why the app is utter garbage? Whats the point of having this great little camera if the app constantly crashes wont transfer videos and then the camera wont turn off so you have to remove the battery? Im very close to sending it back

Hi Red Ferret - and people who read the commentsobviously I have no life :P Because I've done some investigating on a recent comment (from this guy named Fetstell) on my own ISAW video. And I see that he's posted on yours as well. I have a feeling that he's spamming negative comments about the battery - maybe he's been hired by a rival company. I know someone who actually had a legit job spamming comments EXACTLY like that one (on a review site) so I think that is what's happening here. Sorry for doing a bit of spamming myself - I make these videos so people can make up their own mind - and I have a feeling you do to. - Sarah :)
It's an amamzing camera anf you can use all the gopro parts but why the hell are those batteries (type: isaw-rep-04) are so god damn expensive
Hey, question; was interested in buying the camera but GoPro has all the range of mounts that I'd need. You mentioned that it is compatible with GoPro mounts and accessories - can you confirm that? :)

Is Sony HDR AS50 better than the ISAW Edge in terms of video quality? I think it is an advantage that the ISAW Edge has a LCD screen. Sony hasn't a LCD screen. Another question, how is the image stabilization of the ISAW Edge?

No info when shooting, looked like 1080 but who knows! Maybe that takes a bit of real editing and you can't be bothered.

The sample video had really "hazy" image quality, and halos around lights. I suspect it has a very strong antialiasing filter over the sensor. I'll have to look at some GoPro videos to compare.
Is one of those ports a micro or mini hdmi out?

Is this still being made? Even Isaw uk out of stock. Ordered one and then got refunded from Currys because no stocks. Other suppliers say out of stock with no re-stock date. I refuse to pay full whack on Amazon. I will now go for Olfi one five, it has better 4k frame rate and image stabilisation.

hi, the lens on my isaw edge cracked badly :(. Any idea if replacement of the lens glass is possible
Thanks Mate for this great video. After watching it I went and bought the ISAW Edge, and I am truly satisfied with it. I have to say that I did not encounter the memory card niggle you mentioned. My SD card fits perfectly inside the ISAW Edge and the USB cable does not pop it out. Maybe it's cause of the SD card you are using ? I noticed you are using the Samsung card, I am using the Kingstone Card. Cheers for this awesome vid.
just a small question. You said that you can charge it when plugged in on a computer. But i am looking for an action cam so i can use it as a dashhcam (because i just got an old opel corsa as my first car) and also so i can use it when i make timelapses of thunderstorms or mountainbike rides. A dashcam would also cost 200 euro and you can only use it as a dashcam, but with an actioncam, you can use it for more stuff for the same amount of money. So my question is: can you plug the camera in in the car in the ciggarete lighter charge thingy (normally you can charge your gps with it and so on), but can it still record when you plug it in there and charge it? otherwise, i have to swap batteries when i am at my work or recharge it there. Some cameras cant record when you are recharging so those wont work as a dashcam.

I bought one after watching your review. An impressive little gadget. Your niggles were spot on, the memory card catches on the frame and the USB lead flips the camera on its back like a WWF wrestler! I would add a couple of niggles of my own. First, you can't use the camera as a camera while its charging. They say you can if you use a mains charger or a car charger, so why not on a normal USB? Second, I bought a spare battery thinking I'd be able to keep one charged and swap them over. However, the camera loses all of its settings including date and time as soon as the battery is removed. Nasty.
Hello, can I ask you, why are your timelapses and darklapse so laggy? Which properties did you use? I saw normal fluent timelapses connected with this camera. What do you think is the issue? Nice review btw.
