What do you think of it iTap Magnetic 2? Have you used a magnetic mount before in the past? If not, what do you use?
If you have a snug case do you even need to glue on the metal plate? Can’t you just place it between the phone and the case?
What if your phone case already has round metal kickstand will that work without adding metal plate on phone case?

Excellent excellent excellent review! I have a Mazda 3 as well. The current magnetic mount of have just isn't strong enough to hold my phone and it slides off. Very excited to pick up one of these after work!
Thanks for the posting the review. I have iottie windshield mount. The rubber side padding got unglue d because the heat. They send me a new unit. They are a great company. My phone is getting over heat shutdown under the windshield. Now I am thinking. I am thinking of this mount.

i use this for over a year and it works really good, i was tired of cheap phone mounts, and glad i trow that money on this mount, i do not know how the vent mount works, but i tend to belive this company make good quality
I LIKED mine until recently. I've had mine for about 6 months now and I have used it a lot. However..... I have noticed that where that the ball joint area has gotten very weak and so when I put my phone on it, it just dangles. It was fine through my last trip over the holidays. Then I don't know what happened. I don't often move the positioning. Nothing has cracked - it's just loose. And there is no other way to tighten that part of the unit. So, I just purchased a different brand (Scosche) to replace this. We shall see. I guess I'll just hot glue the ball joint into place for now. Disappointing.
Every car is different. I bought the version that mounts on the vents and didnt like it too well. Going to exchange it for this because CD slot on lexus rx350 far from nav screen and only blocks a little of the cd player. Thanks for the video.

I think it would be good if you research the parts before you make a video and place it in the world. What you are calling the magnets are the metal plates. It says all of this in the paperwork that comes in the package.
