Please let me know if you'd like to see a "2 year update" on the rechargeable batteries. Here are the links to the batteries tested. Thanks, Todd

China is the common theme here, quality does not equal China
You haven't covered the Lidl batteries yet, the brand they have is Tronic, the AA comes with a capacity of 2400 mAh and the AAA have 950 mAh.
I have a bunch of them that I'm using for a year or so and the batteries all work fine however I can't get them to charge in my GP charger that only worked for the first two or three times so I'm charging them now with a bench top power supply up to four batteries at once connected in series with small magnets to hold it all together and don't even use the so called "smart charger" anymore because it's so smart that it refuses to charge any battery after two or three cycles and I have no idea why that is exactly, it's strange that it stops working so fast with brand spanking new batteries.
Maybe you have an idea what the issue is and if you could test the Lidl brand "TRONIC" maybe that will get me some answers.
You are a tremendous source of good and fair information. Keep up the good work!!
Where is the link for the Duracell 2450 ??????
Not battery knowledgeable but it would appear that if you’re going to keep let’s say 12 batteries in a regular charging rotation any of the top 4 IKEA, Duracell, Eneloop, Amazon Basic would perform equally. The top 2 being Duracell and IKEA would be best if the plan is long storage. Does this sound reasonable?
Yes. A two year update would be great!
Just checked Amazon ratings. Duracell 7K 5*. Eneloop 25K 5 *!! IKEA poor ratings 🤔
Since that charger has a Break In mode did you ever try to see if you could bring the batteries back to their original Mah level?
Great video! Glad I found this!
Duracell is now made in China
The Lord of Batteries
I bought 2 Panasonic 1.2v 1100mAh rechargeable AA batteries for $4 CAD. Worth it?
This is such a great channel, thanks man!
Review Bonai rechargeable batteries please x
the Amazon silver link doesn't work.
your a genius thank you
damn man! the effort you put in one video is too much... bravo
I wonder how important battery chargers are when it comes to battery performance and longevity
Needing to purchase some Rechargeable Batteries for regular use, I purchased some AA yesterday of the Energizer flavor....
Needing some AAA now, saw Rayovac Brand advertised as "Outperforming Energizer", was searching online and saw this Video.
Personal experience, any Battery that is cheap, is not going to last, though with Rechargeable it is anyone's best guess... Because
you cannot ever accurately Test decide, which one is Better, under normal conditions, charge time, energy use, etc... will always vary... NO ONE
times how long the flashlight is on or how long something that is used intermittently is On/Off.... Well except for the really cheap ones, like the EverReady Batteries
or the Panasonic ones....
Thanks for the Video.. Typically I shy away from 'Amazon Basics' products..... I have seen the Amazon Business Model..... There aren't Warranties with Batteries,
so you are on your own and for that reason, the 'Old Faithful' versions of Name Brands, typically be ones I would favor..? I have some Duracell, which have lasted for
a few years now and still work well. While I have purchased 'Cells' from China on Ebay and those Batteries spent as much time on the Charger, as they did in my Keyboard. Thus,
my purchasing the Duracell, which are a bit more pricey....Although, they are very well worth the Cost. However, I opted for the Energizer Batteries, to see which ones, I believed were
Better.... As these are to be used in a Digital Camera and therefore, the Name Brand Batteries seem like the Better Option. With having purchased less Reputable Items,
which will not power the Camera/Flash, for more than 30min-1hr of Photos, before they no longer work...
Thanks for the Video.... Though I think I'll stay away from the Amazon Batteries...
You refer to milliwatt hours and milliamp hours as though they are the same thing. The max litium claimed 2800 milliwatt hours and produced 1593 milliamp hours. At 1593 milliamp hours x 1.5 volts (estimated) you get 2389 milliamp hours. Still not th claimed 2800milliwatt hours but now an apple to apple comparison. Am I missing something?
That was great, thanks!
I bought already well over 10 years ago a bunch of AA batteries of e bay which were marked "3500", yep, they didn't even spell out "mAh" anywhere on the wrap although marketed as 3500mAh by many different sellers from that one particular country, well they sucked terribly similarly as shown in this video, total garbage, don't buy from them!
