Excellent video Charlie. Basic principles don't change. The way we utilise them might, but the principles don't. As we learn more we utilise them better. People get very focused on swirl, but how many talk about tumble? Swirl is easy to measure so everyone focuses on it, and argues about it. It's simply another reading, no different to the reading on a manometer. By rights we should not be looking at swirl on its own

I put 91 swirl port heads on my stock 350 in my 79 2wd Blazer. I slightly modified the Q-Jet and distributor. Modified the intake to fit. I was surprised. It blew the tires ouf an really started to scream even more at about 3000 rpm. I did have to pull back the timing to about 33 degrees or so. I put one on my homemade flow bench and it stalls out at about 400 lift. I used a flag in the port and it was crazy. And made me think and a little confused.

Internal Combustion Engines is an outdated technique from the last century.Very bad efficiency and needs oxygen that we need for breathing.Would you not think about the millions/billions of people living inside crowded cities and needs to breath the polluted air 24/7?Zero local emission with electric engines is the key, not Internal Combustion Engines.
