personally, after two years of use, the phone still runs fine. i did buy it mainly for the design, i admit, but that doesn't mean i was dissatisfied with its performance.i don't think the camera was subpar in its price range, it had much better color rendition and sharpness than other 8mp phones i'd been considering before buying it, and if you don't have shaky hands, the missing stabilization is not a problem most of the time. I could even get passable macro shots with this thing. it's got a short focal length and focuses very close to the lens, so you can get much nearer to the subject than with most other phones and blur out the background, it's actually very neat.I've made a comparison test for fun between this phone and a sony cyber shot 10 mp compact camera and i honestly believe the auto mode in the phone exposes the photos much better than the sony and it also renders the colors to be more true to life. i count that as a victory for the phone camera. what i see as a major issue is max iso of 800 and high noise in low light. and i mean really bad. but in daylight it beats a sony compact camera of the same era despite slightly lower megapixel count. not bad for a middle of the pack phone.i do concede the video is not without issues. i have no way of telling how many frames per second it records, but it does lag on my device slightly, especially if i move the phone around right after starting a new recording. if i stay still for a few seconds and then start panning around, the problem fixes itself and the video is fine. i have never had any sort of severe lag as shown in the video though. I find that very strangethe battery life is less than ideal, but as long as it survives for a day, i have no reason to upgrade to a newer phone. :)
i have had this phone for about a year now and it was good for me for about 5 months then i started to notice a few problems. the phones battery started dying alot faster and didnt last that long while playing games. next the lag started and at first it wasnt too bad but then it would start to freeze and i would have to restart it. 3rd was the wifi and service on it, every once in a while it would disconnect or lose service as if it was in a dead zone which was annoying. lastly is the sd and sim holder. they are not listed so u have no idea which is which and around may i opened one hoping it was sd but it was sim so i was like whatever so i put it back in and it never read my sim again and when i took it to my service provider they said i tampered with so its broken which i didnt do anything wrong i just opened it :(
