I miss the futuristic design of this phone. All those curve felt great in the hand. Now every smartphone is plain and boxy.
I missed this phone so much.
I have been using this phone since 2013 and it still provides me with solid performance, even till this day.
That was the best phone ever, until it became unbearably slow and the storage ran out.Nothing compareable ever since. The xperia xz1is the closest at the moment, but I just don't like the design.
Yeah iPhone is like 600 dollars and HTC one s for like 300 bucks -_-
Beats itself isn't that bad. It is quite a bit better than the stock profile. The problem is that we are talking about Android, and audio profiles are but a couple clicks away.
Is the screen resolution that bad? Because I really want to buy it because it looks a very decent phone but if it is so bad that it is disturbing, I don't know...

When will people understand that not everybody has giant hands? For me, the biggest phone I can use is a 4.3" phone. I don't know how people can compare 4.3" phones with a Galaxy Note II. Of Course the GNII has better specs, IT'S ALSO A BIGGER PHONE. Verge, please, start making reviews on the best 4" phones, the best 4.3" phones and so on. WE DON'T ALL HAVE GIANT FREAKAZOID HANDS *sobs*
Is the battry life on this a real problem? I would say that I'm genereally a light user but with this kind of phone i suppose i'll be on it more?

This device suffers from a serious issue: the home screen bug, which renders your phone utterly useless when on EDGE. Finally? Anyone knowing anything about audio quality has been saying that for a LONG time... one thing's for sure - if I should decide to buy this phone, I'll put a Klipsch or Shure sticker over the 'beats' logo. I would be kind of embarassed if anyone saw me with it.

Imagine this phone with same ui just little refinements of latest android on a 120Hz a full 18:9 or 19:9. whatever full screen aspect ratio and latest hardware . That would be awesome!!

Ranjit, are you able to disable that reflow function for the text in the web browser? Because that delay it caues would probably annoy me a lot.

Hey Ranjit Can you help me select a mobile in the range of 25k ? I want this One S but it's the Indian version is just falling behind the SGSII launched in 2011 in NenaMark 2 scores. Other option would be Xperia TX ? It has impressive specs. But it too lags in it's UI and hard gaming & I don't personally like the Samsung phones so can you help please ? Thanks.

This phone sucks it'd unresponise slow and crashs way too much and the battery only last like 1 fucking hour >:(

I had this phone for the past 4 years and I love it so much. The case I got for it (it was only $3 lol) made it really sturdy. I dropped it so many times and nothing has happened to it! I had to get a new phone recently bc my HTC One S kept running out of battery quicker and it doesn't update after 4.1.1 :( I'm keeping it at home only now as my anime/video/movie watching phone. :)

this phone is what got me hooked to HTC haha using my new HTC 10 but man that phone has so many memories haha would tell kids this phone is great cause not like a iPhone where you sneeze on it and the screen shatters or a Samsung Galaxy wich every kid had in my school half was cracked and there was throwing my phone and dropping it on purpose showing how durable it was and amazing it was.

I remember when I first unboxed this phone it dropped literally 8 times out of my hands because it was so damn slippery. Either way, having this phone was an EXCELLENT experience.. I really couldn't complain.. It's too bad someone stole my one s Im sure I would have still been using it even with all the other new technology out there .

Hi, thanks for the review! Regarding the Pentile display in video playback - did you notice any black clipping, blocky/pixelated image in dark areas of videos?I had that issue with Galaxy Note 1 and I hated it, videos looked abysmal in dark areas, as if shot with a 0.3 mp camera.That's the only issue bothering me and the reason I haven't decided yet whether or not to buy this phone.Thank you in advance for answering!

The battery life is slightly better than the HTC Amaze. It was also more ergonomic than the Amaze. I must admit this phone feels great in the hand. I guess this phone just annoys me, but I can't put my finger on it. In terms of speed, this phone has never let me down. But I don't have the chemistry with this phone as I had with my past phones like the Dash, the Amaze, and the Wing. I think HTC One will fit me a lot more.
