Thanks for this video, I just got this... But Can't agree with made in India, there are no any country of origin written anywhere, and I don't think India would miss the chance... (If Meco is copy of Aneng, then this one is copy of Unity/Bside.) Anyway love this Multimeter, after using Cheap 200INR for 13 yrs (still working), I was thinking about a good TRMS meter, your video help me to choose...
HTC is an Indian Co. that imports everything from China, then assembles & packages it here. Its products are cheap (comparatively), though not very quality stuff. And, it has no real warranty. DM98 is one of their best model, but like others it is prone to defects & malfunction.

Useless reviewer has no idea of where the Original design. This is also just a rebranded chinese product that is of lower quality than China.

Sir, I am having HTC DM 86 multimeter. It was giving erratic reading and ncv was not responding. One of my friend opened the set. During dismantling the contact points set beneath selector knob fell down. Now the real problem is to repositioning them. Will you kindly guide.

The meco brand is renamed "Indian" version of the aneng meters, which is certainly better than this multimeter. The multimeter you have is also made in China.
