how do you feel about the hinges? I just got mine Spectre 360 yesterday and I find the hinges to be weak and the screen tilts back with minimal shacking. I also found the right hinge to me uneven and misaligned. Any comment or opinion on that? I had to have my custom-built since they hp did not have the one you have in the video available no longer. Still proud of that orbit at 3:29. Thought I'd died but realized after 3 orbits that I was still alive and managed to continue it. Really solid improvement from the previous model, and I think it's $200 cheaper as well.

I personally own this model and believe it actually doesn't come with two thunderbolt 3 ports. The one flush along the left side appears to be a TB 3 port while the one on the "diamond edge" seems to be a USB 3.1 10Gbps Type C port. They look the same due to the port design but I noticed when I use a thunderbolt 3 dock connected to the corner port many Type-A ports on the dock go "dead" due to lack of bandwidth (I also push 2 4K monitors at 60Hz). However, this stops being the case when I connect my dock to the side port. Now maybe someone out there can tell me the bad news that I have a defective corner port and that I should have two real TB3 ports.

Is anyone going to mention that these things have a tendency to have failing motherboards. Meaning when they do fail, you’re screwed. HP hasn’t taken responsibility for this issue or initiated any recalls. My I just had mine give out - I’m very angry right now.

would definitely like to emphasize the point about the privacy screen and the vewing angle. it affects it so much that if you arent looking at the laptop straight on any slight lean back or forward of the screen or of yourslef really affects the experience and is very noticeable. make sure the screen tech specs dont have "sure view". unfortunately i had to op for the more expensive 4k as the none sure view screens are nowhere to be found

For Indians it's a waste looking at this video because the 13inch 4k model prices at 1.6 Lakhs with an Intel Iris graphics and is rarely available in the market whereas the 15inch at the same cost comes with a gtx 1650. 13 inch has no more 4k models other than what I mentioned in India and the normal ones with FHD cost about 1.45 Lakhs containing the same specifications as the HP Pavilion X360 which comes at cool 85k to 1Lakh and is 1.65kg which is 450g heavier than the Spectre x360 13inch which is 1.2kg. So overall you will be paying a premium just for the weight while everything else remains the same. Spectre x360 13inch doesn't come with a Finger print reader and a dedicated graphics card like Mx250 which is present in the HP Pavilion x360. So you decide. I mean maybe the American customers have a cool deal and wider variety of Spectres to choose from, but we Indians have been left in the dust and were asked to squabble over a limited number of choices.
