how do you feel about the hinges? I just got mine Spectre 360 yesterday and I find the hinges to be weak and the screen tilts back with minimal shacking. I also found the right hinge to me uneven and misaligned. Any comment or opinion on that? I had to have my custom-built since they hp did not have the one you have in the video available no longer. I made a quick video about the hinge and the shaking thanks for your opinion!m Love the video.

I just bought the 15" version. It's is pretty awesome. The battery life is excellent. The processor is very quick. It does get dangerously hot without some configuration though. I accidentally let it get up to 100°C for a few seconds while installing Visual Studios. Mine has the Geforce GTX1050-Ti max, which is decent, but not awesome. I can play Skyrim on 4k Ultra settings and get ~40-50fps, but I think it would struggle with newer games. Overall a great buy once you handle the overheating problem!

I bought it at a cheap price 2 months ago. I recently noticed that the charger overheats. a lot. literally It's burning to the touch. Does anyone have the same issue? What do you think might be causing this?

What type of a laptop do you recommend for a university student who always want to take notes and also wanna edit photos,videos and which will be more helpful for everything which is needed to be done. For a average price which is better. Microsoft surface book 2, hp spectre x360 13 or Asus zenbook. Please tell me what do you recommend as you got a better knowledge than us.

I'm sold! Damn that is one beautiful laptop. Just ordered one with the 10th gen Intel CPU. Went with the FHD for a full day of battery life. The Ice Lake CPU should give me 12 to 15 hours of unplugged use.

It is actually a quad speaker laptop so the part above the keyboard contains 2 of the 4 speakers you just have to turn on the bang&olufsen experience in hp audio control
I have the i7 version i wouldn't prefer it it heats up and shuts itself down and fan noise are louder than a gaming laptop and screen is not that good neither is the fingerprint reader its just good to look at

Still proud of that orbit at 3:29. Thought I'd died but realized after 3 orbits that I was still alive and managed to continue it. Really solid improvement from the previous model, and I think it's $200 cheaper as well.

I personally own this model and believe it actually doesn't come with two thunderbolt 3 ports. The one flush along the left side appears to be a TB 3 port while the one on the "diamond edge" seems to be a USB 3.1 10Gbps Type C port. They look the same due to the port design but I noticed when I use a thunderbolt 3 dock connected to the corner port many Type-A ports on the dock go "dead" due to lack of bandwidth (I also push 2 4K monitors at 60Hz). However, this stops being the case when I connect my dock to the side port. Now maybe someone out there can tell me the bad news that I have a defective corner port and that I should have two real TB3 ports.

Is anyone going to mention that these things have a tendency to have failing motherboards. Meaning when they do fail, you’re screwed. HP hasn’t taken responsibility for this issue or initiated any recalls. My I just had mine give out - I’m very angry right now.

would definitely like to emphasize the point about the privacy screen and the vewing angle. it affects it so much that if you arent looking at the laptop straight on any slight lean back or forward of the screen or of yourslef really affects the experience and is very noticeable. make sure the screen tech specs dont have "sure view". unfortunately i had to op for the more expensive 4k as the none sure view screens are nowhere to be found
