Do you know whether or not the laptop screen uses gorilla glass? Do I need to worry about scratches if my mother uses my laptop with her long nails? She doesnt understand its not a touchscreen
Can you check if this newer model already supports charging limit? I've read on forums that other models had it recently activated in the BIOS. I like my laptops lasting at least 3-4 years but always the battery is the first to give up. So limiting charging to 60-80% (instead of always 100%) is an important feature to me. AFAIK only HP leaves out this feature on consumer laptops. I believe it's called Battery Health Manager or Battery Care. Thanks!

Hi Lon, did you by any chance get to test the new graphics transcoding performance in Plex? Currently I'm running an unraid with Plex using UHD 630 which runs plenty of 1080p transcodes without much fuss but falls down with more than 2 4k 10 bit transcodes. Was interested if the new graphics would perform any better when they release the rocket lake CPUs. Thanks again for all your content.

I was wondering if upgrading the RAM was as easy as installing another memory stick on the slot with only one 4GB stick and if I just follow the googleable instructions on installing ram on a laptop? The version you have doesn't weight 3.4 lbs, it weights around 3.15 lbs. 3.4 lbs is the weight for the model with dedicated mx450 graphics which removes one of the two ram slots.
