So the screen picture honestly POPS for games? Good contrast quality for 1080p? I'm only looking to casually play BATTLEFIELD-4(2013) online 32 man servers. Would I be able to play it in high settings smoothly without any stutters ? I want a real gaming experience like I would from a GTX1070 and i5-8400 desktop like I used to 4 years ago with around an average 130fps in high or 150fps in medium settings.
Do guys have problems with the sound volume too? It's awful.

Don't waste your money on the hp omen. Sound is so low its almost like there are no speakers. Screen brightness doesnt work keyboard hardware or windows screen is stuck on brightest setting even unplugged and that causes the battery to last like an hour. And for some reason the sd card reader keeps trying to tead while empty and hp support sucks

If this was an honest review, You would mention that all IPS displays have IPS glow/color bleed, and on black screen in dark room screen looks almost broken. I bought this laptop today, and this hit me in the eye right from the start. Seems all IPS panels have this and there is no meaning in returning it in repair. Will have to use for weekend and decide if its big issue enough for me to return this notebook. But knowing this infront I would not go for this laptop. Also charger cable is attached to charger in weird way, not sure if its detachable or on its way to get torn out, kinda afraid of testing it.

knowing nothing about laptops ive had a week of my eyes bulging bad as staring at screen after screen without really getting anywhere, my choice had come down to the Medion Erazer Defender P10 Core i7 16GB 512GB SSD RTX but as its so hard to find a review in english i was unsure, yes this is £150 more but you spoke very positively about this omen i'm going to get one Monday.unless i'm told the Medion is better that is lolall the fact and numbers went over my head but it was easy to read between the lines so well done and great review.

Thanks for the detailed review. I just got the new 2020 model 17-cb1070nr with RTX 2060. The CPU reaches 100°C with MAX fan and throttles the CPU during Cinebench and gaming. Can it be resolved by undervolting or should I replace it with another laptop. Since I shipped it from US to Kuwait it would take a month to return and get another one.

You should really get the core i9 10885h 8 core model with the desktop full size rtx 2080 super non max q. That is a beast. This 6 core is mediocre

I love this laptop! I’ve had it for about a month. It’s everything I could’ve wanted. Great performance, perfect screen, and amazing keyboard. Battery life is a little on the low though, but it is expected from a powerful laptop.
I bought this laptop before finding your video but I am pleased you found this model as good as I have. Currently playing Metro Exodus which looks awesome. I have done the RAM upgrade to 32gb but was not sure what I needed for the second SSD . Your video answered that for me so thanks. Also I did not know about the audio control so this will help as well.
