I had a couple different HP laptops that you could open up the fan area by just undoing a bolt or two, and you could clean out all the accumulated fuzz. But that was forever ago. Do they still have that on any of the current HP laptops that anyone knows of?

Got it for about one year and any time receive updates (which i had it probably already 8 times) ALWAYS HAVING PROBLEMS connecting internet on my second day screen turn in to blue. Had to reset to factory settings. big mistake buying it, 900£ wasted money. I guess for that kind of money i could have bought something better and not having problem connecting to internet. need more info just comment it here i will give you more details. Dont buy it

Don't buy it! Bought one back in August and it was defective right out of the box. Sent it back to the HP repair shop and they said it would be repaired and back to me in three weeks. Nope, they extended it out another month waiting for repair parts. Battery life is short but when it did work it was a nice machine.
I got the 8th gen. i7 version, upgraded to 24Gb ram, 2Tb HDD, 1Tb M.2 SSD. Mine still has a DVD burner which I prefer. I use it for photo editing and I couldn't have been happier with my choice.

I need a family laptop; understanding this is NOT a gaming laptop, can it handle Fortnite @ at 60mhz or close to it? Hello Is it normal for that HP Envy to have his right side USB port always on power, even when the machine is off? Because I got one, and I have the impression it is not normal!
Okay I'm here to return and say DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER. Under heavy workloads, the entire system locks up. It makes it useless to me and my friends.
I'm currently using this laptop now, all I can say is, I like the design but not the durability of it, it is so heavy that I'm having trouble opening it. as time passes by the drop hinge with the rubber became bent upward which hinders me from opening it. It is so heavy that you have to take extra care to open it that you might bend the screen and break the supporting braces just like what happened to mine, every time I open and close the laptop the internal part get exposed because of an opening. The most hated thing I have with this is the malleability of the drop hinge, like so fucking annoying because it gets bent inward over time and scratches the back cover and worst cases, it produces a crack while opening.

Looks like there still isn’t an indicator light for the Number Lock. I’ve found it to be annoying on my older 17t. And the bezels are still huge.
