will this work with my cartridge 6 yrs not been use?
After years of struggling with tri-color carts and now just giving up HP because they are anti-refill, I finally figured out how to unclog. Inject distilled water into the cart. Let it soak anywhere from two hours to a couple days. It is also a good idea to put the carts printhead in a shallow puddle of water or on really moist papertowels or sponge. Windex or ammonia will corrode printheads so don't use it unless you intend to totally wash it off again pretty quickly. Water works, especially warm, and distilled water won't leave mineral crystals in your ink jets. When the cart has been soaked an appropiate time stick a syringe into the cart. Avoid damaging the filter at the bottom by aiming the needle to the side near the filter. This time as you suck out the ink and therefore the plug, you will see that color bloom out in the bottom soaking puddle. You can put this ink fluid back in . . . Or throw it out and repeat the procedure until you have a totally purged cartridge and then fill with fresh ink or some recycled. If you want to put ink back in, have a syringe with the plunger removed, stick it into the appropriate cart and push the foamy ink into the syringe/funnel and just let it seep back in slowly. It is impossible to get all the fluid back in that you took out all at once. It takes time, plus the bubbles of foam must pop first. I have had one color replug from putting ink back in and you cannot remove HP carts w/o the machine counting it, so purging completely before returning ink might be desirable. You can still save the first removal to another container for recycle if you like or just use fresh. Fill, let settle, fill again.

I have tried all of those methods but my printer running well only on glossy paper mode, I can't print correctly on plain paper mode

#6 did it for me but I used a syringe instead of an air can. Gently pumping air from the syringe was sufficient to unblock the ink flow.
If none of these work... toss it.

I have used warm water spiked with ammonia to soak the printheads in for a long time. But when I have a totally dry cartidge, the best thing is to fill the cart with a syringe of DISTILLED water and let it soak for two hours, also with a bit of distilled water in a dish for the print head to soak in. No ammonia. Distilled water is enough and the best. You don't want hard water crystals stopping up your print head. Then suck the water back out with a syringe and maybe go for another round of distilled water. Suck out as much of the water as possible and then inject the new ink supply. Works like a charm. The problem is usually the kill switch in the HP cartridge if things go wrong and you get the dreaded "incompatible cartridge" message. Hold down the power button. It might work . . . once. HP counts everything. Best NOT to remove the cartridge from the printer if possible, or as little as possible, and also make sure you have enough paper loaded if you want to get that last print job in.
