Hp just released a newer version of this laptop and it doesnt have that keyboard flex like this older model and the back panel doesnt have as much flex either. The speakers are also moved under the laptop base located on the sides so it cleans up the beyboard look. The power button is moved on the keyboard as well too, maybe you could do another review of this newer model?

This is my go to laptop, i have the 9th gen i7 and 1070maxQ8GB 32GBDDR4 144hrz, It runs everything I've thrown at it so far, but i dont get top tier FPS on ultra settings, but it works great.. I have it with every where, and it takes the abuse really great I got a great deal on it, bought in 2019 as a demo model, so absolutely worth it

I am shocked at how fast this laptop starts up and shuts down lnfo.help/HpTouch? Under 10 seconds for each! I'm not a fan of touch screens so probably won't use it. I work with HUGE spreadsheets and this laptop works well with the 16gb of ram. The cooling fan is pretty loud but it doesn't bother me. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this laptop for personal use. I don't think it is rugged enough for business use where you are moving it alot. I don't think the exterior would hold up to much abuse.

It's promising to see this newer version.I bought a last gen version of this last xmas and it ran REALLY hot. That wasn't a problem in itself, but after 9 months it died. I can't fault HP customer service as they dealt with it quickly and gave me a full refund.

The Amd 4080h version has been given a more than mediocre display: 60hz, slow response time and abysmal color reproduction levels. The Intel version on the contrary is 144hz and it's apparently significantly better It's the Intel mafia at work. Moreover, performance drop significantly on battery. THAT'S why you should review the AMD version, Dave Lee, instead of bitching because your viewer suggest you to do so: it's not just a matter of temperature management.
