All you have to do clean the poly lens once a year if it's an outdoor camera. Poly can also be polished. I prefer external ir separate from the camera for outdoor use so we don't have an issue with reflection or bleed.. i also prefer a camera with no dome because i like the fact that ppl can see that the camera is looking at them :)
