I used to have this machine but now I make my yogurt in the Instant Pot using 2 tablespoon of store bought yogurt. My yogurt stays fresh for 1 month not 10 days.

I did not know that something of that sort even existed. We have been making yogurt at home without it since ages. Well this can be good for cold countries or for new generation people who do not know traditional techniques. I now live in Canada which colder than my home country India but still I am able get make yogurt as much as I want. All i need to do know is regulate temperature smartly. And inside homes in Canada it is not cold at all.

The science of Yoghurt making is very simple . Please read the Wikipedia article : - ingredients:Yogurt (ironically)Milk (not surprisingly)Mix (oh wait, that's 3 ingredients...sorry)Heating, mixing, cooling & setting the milk IS cooking it!! Why would you need to cook it again?So you're making yogurt out of yogurt & cooking it after cooking it? Talk about redundant & monotonous.
