It makes good rotis but you need to perfect yourself gradually with the procesesses. Soft dough of course the first need and you have to flatten it in first attempt.

@Umesh Matta thanks for your demo video I bought a machine and tried roties and I got a good result like roti's thickness, shape, and softness I have a query that there are two buttons power and ready whenever I plug in , it always indicates ready button red instead of power button I need some dark sports on my roti like in video however I didn't get desire temperature for that I just want to know Is there any power control setting downside the machine? I am waiting for your reply

Hi, I bought a Chef Pro roti maker here in USA. I made the dough as shown (soft and pliable), kept the roti maker temperature on max, but whenever i press the dough, it sticks on the plates and is very difficult to remove. I tried using dry flour and oil in various tries so that the dough does not get stuck on plates, but with no luck. It is still sticking to the plates, every time I press it. I do not understand if it is non-stick coated and I am following the instructions as mentioned then why is it not working, what more should i do so that it doesn't stick to the plates. If the problem is not solved then it will be a waste of money for me. Please advise.

Roti maker is really useful. My family has been using it. Surely it needs a lot of practice. But once you master it, it is extremely convenient.

I had bought one for myself to make rotis when I lived outside! I tried twice once just made a hard toast but next time successful in making a semi hard semi raw but burnt chapati that was my achievement with this machine. Instead while going through traditional ways I atleast made semi raw and semi burnt rotis which can be eaten somehow. Finally I gave off roti and adopted bread. I feel there are so much alternative to rotis like pasta, noodles etc. Afterall all cannot make rotis.
