I feed my shrimp a boiled carrot/ deshelled boiled peas finely diced up with blood worms and brine shrimp mixture and they eat it all up.

i like to dice really small cucumber and carrot pieces and ill mix it with brine and blood worms, ill add equal amounts to a small freezer trey that are squares, then ill add a bit of water to it so it can freeze, ill drop 2 of them in on different parts of the tank every week as a treat, they love it!! note: only freeze a few weeks worth because the food tends to get freezer burn after a month or two and i dont know if thats good for the shrimp or not
Oh...I just brought some cherry shrimps and bred them recently. And the seller recommended the Ocean Nutrition's Shrimp wafers to me. Aw...Maybe I should try other food next time. Btw, I am wondering should I keep the old shell after the shrimp molted? Or it is also a great food resource for the shrimps?

I will try some off the shrimp food, had 30 shrimps for one month and untill now did not feed them. They breed and now I have around 40 see them eating alot from plants roots stones etc etc

Another thing about Shrimp King (if I'm remembering correctly and I think I am) it even crumbles up real easy in your fingers if you just rub two tabs together to sprinkle it throughout the tank.
I got a tub of the Shrimp King Complete and I have to say that I do not see this crumbling effect. In fact the pellet's seem to get a gummy consistency and texture almost like tar and yes while a shrimp can pull bits off of it I find that two or three of the biggest ones will just sit on top of it and hog everything leaving nothing for others until they are done eating. Just my experience maybe I got a bad batch or something.
Big issue with this food is its seriously expensive. I hope some substitute ll come soon

I have Amano shrimp in my 20 gallon Cherry shrimp tank, and they will pick up half a stick of food and carry it away for themselves. I end up having to drop in more food for the Cherry shrimp.

I have a really beautiful CRS, she's the biggest one I have, and man does she get bossy. She could be eating a piece of food and she used to go out of her way to knock other shrimp away from food she wasn't even eating. She came from a pet shop where there was only her and one other CRS in the tank, so I think when I got her home with my other shrimp she was probably angry and confused that there was now competition for food or something.
