I have just found that in Yunus Cengels's book, the author mentioned Jack Holman's book, Incropera's book and Frank Kreith's book at the references/suggested reading list in several chapters. Holman's and Incropera's books are referenced almost in every chapters. So, imo, Jack Holman's book and Frank Kreith's book deserve to be mentioned here too.
What is your opinion of Principles of Heat Transfer by Frank Kreith ?
When I studied this subject, I found Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer by Frank Incropera was exciting to read. But the lecturer picked Heat Transfer book by Jack P Holman which was the main textbook used for years. So I also used Holman's book. A year later or two, he picked a new textbook : Principles of Heat Transfer by Frank Kreith. In my opinion, Incropera's book is the best. I have never read Cengel's book on Heat Transfer, but since his book on Thermodynamics is excellent, I think his book on Heat Transfer will be good too.
