I got the Harman/Kardon Neo for like 49 dollars today and its about the same size and it is waterproof . Sounds amazing for it size.. !
Does anyone know if they have one similar to the Harman mini onyx? I love the bass on the mini onyx but mine died after 10months.

Im a HK fan. There are a lot of positives. The negatives are key. I mean, how do you set it if you take it in your car when your stereo goes out? I got Sirius for 2bucks for 3 months🤣

It’s an ok review... you forget that this speaker and the brand HK has the reputation of being a clear sound system. This speaker is NOT high base obviously but the clearly of the sound is very good. I have one and I highly recommended. You want base then you gonna have to upgrade to a bigger bulky speaker. 🤷🏼‍♂️
This is a pretty good review and the audio sample sounded great to me... but I think the most valuable thing in a review like this is to compare the sound quality (by telling us your opinion) to other popular speakers with a similar size/weight. I'm trying to downsize my Bose Soundlink Micro (about 300g) for travel, but I'd like to retain about 75% of the audio quality. The powerbank functionality (albeit limited capacity) is awesome for travelling and I'd actually use the speaker for conference calls on the road (the BOSE just turns off randomly when using it as a speakerphone, lol).

The idea of having a speaker about the same size and look of a phone is pretty awesome! With more improvements, it'll be worth the buy in the future!
I have not tired siruis, might look into it though when I can afford a subscription lol. As for the speaker I would pay for better quality, I don't expect a small speaker to be a surround sound or stereo system. Which most people think they should operate that way, but they're not LOL. The design seems neat, sound quality sound okay. I Don't Go Near water with my phone or speakers so that's not the biggest issue for me.

I really like this speaker because of the portability and power bank functionality. However, I would still want something better as my primary speaker in terms of sound quality. So, as a secondary speaker, $150 is a little much. But, I definitely would consider it. Thanks for the review Rizknows! Never tried SiriusXM, but I know several people who have, and they definitely enjoy it. I'm more of a music person though to be honest.
I've never tried it cause I don't have a car and probably won't get one in the nearest future. I'm a bicycle kind of guy. The speaker looks very good. They really did a good job with the design. Although, I'm not sure about the scenarios of use. It's not waterproof and modern smartphones are just loud enough for use indoors.
can you do a review on an BT 5.0+, ip67 (or similar) massive portable Bluetooth speaker? maybe 48 hour playback time on medium sound level?

The speaker looks really nice. Love the power bank function and long battery life. The speaker would be great for business people because of its stylish looks Also, never tried siriusXM, but will check it out!

Not a HK fan, but it sounds much more crisp and clear. Also, not a fair comparison. Maybe the Soundlink color would be a wiser choice. Compact car versus full size sedan.

Dont know why these two are being compared. Does anyone want to carry a bose brick in their pocket. Plus from what i cant tell the bose does Not have a full size usb port to charge your other device ( cell phone ) . Bose has slighty better sound but looses every where else.

I don't understand how the back would feel "plasticy"  as you state, when in fact, the Harman Kardon website advises the back of the speaker is made of leather.  Leather is quite different than plastic.  In addition, you did not spell Harman Kardon properly as it relates to the "HARMAN".  You have "HARMON".  Just an FYI.
The esquire mini has the best clarity for its size. This comparison is dumb and pointless because the Bose soundlink mini, is more comparable to the Logitech UE boom which is much bigger then the HK ESQUIRE MINI !! The Esquire mini would be more comparable to the jambox mini, or the monster superstar, which it sounds better then both !! but other then the Esquire mini, I would have to say the JAM REWIND gets loud and actually sounds very well for a speaker so small, and considering the brand who makes it. I mean we all know JAM is a cheap company and they don't exactly make good products but the jam rewind was actually pretty impressive. The HK ESQUIRE MINI is the smallest and thinnest speaker I have seen, especially considering the sound and clarity is produces!! vocals on the Esquire mini are amazing and are FAR better then the jambox mini, and the volume is also much louder on the Esquire mini. there are quite a few "pocket sized" speakers out there but none of them have been able to create a speaker this thin and sound this good !! The Esquire mini is about the size of an average smart phone. no speaker this size is going to have bass, some have a fuller sound then others but none have bass, but the Esquire did well with its design, sound, and price I think !!
I bought one several years ago and kept it in its original box. After opening it, I used it for a couple of months and then here it is,,, a buzzing sound. There are so many better mini speakers than this one and at a much cheaper price. This one is absolutely overrated!!!!

I bought one..turned it on to mach it with my macbook pro at 90% max volume.. After 10 minutes it started crackling and loosing it's clarity…not sure what i did wrong..
