I'm using canon 1500d but there is no center hotshoe pin . But godox tt685c and godox X1 trigger is not compatible with canon 1500d but recently godox announced that after firmware update we can use those external flash and trigger . Is this possible ?

There are _three_ types of flash, MANUAL where you pre-set the illumination, AUTO where a sensor on the flash controls it, and TTL where the camera controls it. He is describing MANUAL and TTL. Many older flashes have AUTO, eg see the lower slide switch for all three modes on this old Pentax unit :. Loads of cheap used AUTO units on Ebay, but check they don't have a high voltage here trying to figure out the purpose of this video, must be for views. Smh

Awesome flash Works amazingly well with my Nikon D850. It’s absolutely worth investing in some nice flashes, as opposed to less expensive but lower quality lenses. Buy it once for a lot instead of buying it multiple times for a little.
