I can't recall any other bass demo that didn't even bother to show the face of the person that is actually playing the instrument. (Did he ask for more $$$ than you wanted to pay him to do it; or was it some sort of "copyright infringement"?) That said, I do appreciate the people that *did* give the man his due recognition. Thanks, Mel. You made that bass sound great. :)

After playing bass for years and through tons of different basses over the years, I always come back to the Jazz bass. Especially an American Standard. If I had to keep one forever bass this be it.
Well here we are again with both pickups up full? Did it ever occur to you guys that a jazz bass has the ability to play the pickups separately with totally different sounds? The player is probably very capable of performing this task if only some nit wit would let him... This is another one of those WTF moments from Fender.

No S1 switch? that's too bad. Sure its 2006. Can't think of why anybody would take the S1 switch off, those were the nicest ones especially with the Rosewood fretboard. If they did that's a sin probably why they sold it.

I really dreamed of having a bass guitar like this but it was impossible for me ... everything was just a dream !!!!
The S-1 was removed from this bass, plus, I don't know if it's the light or not but I would give that fretboard some oil! ;)
