would not recommend Pixel 3a. slow down dramatically after 1 yr use and ready to toss it away. could not fix the slowness, lag, and keyboard always would not pop up. I am always need the cleaning of the cache daily & felt very frustrated

Went from my 2xl to this and I love it. Just as snappy. Don't give a shit about the camera. Battery lasts all day with hard use. I prefer the plastic. I just wish the whole thing had a matte finish, but other than that it's perfect.

I was really considering the purchase of a pixel phone, but Google still has disabled the use of Miracast on all their phones. Chromecast requires additional hardware and internet connection to be useable.

Best camera in a mid-range phone. Plus, better than most flagships. The OLED display is not Samsung good but still produces great color contrasts, deep blacks. The 670processer works admirably, no lags or stutters. I paid bucks tax included. This was well spent? I highly recommend this phone to anyone, the tech nut or the novice consumers?

I never owned a pixal so on cyber Monday picked up the 3a XL for bucks tax included. A good phone? Absolutely the OLED display, camera & battery are very good. The 670processer runs well, no lags or stutters. For the average consumer at this price is an excellent buy. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone. The stereo speakers are quite good. Yep, I also like the polycarbonate build quality better than the glass sandwiche. Very good review!
I'm planning to buy one for christmas but i have a couple qestions. Please tell me, does it have a nightmode? Can we hide the navigation bar and use gestures like the iPhone XS? Does it have a themes store where we can download themes and icons? Thank you in advance for your answer. Regards

Thank you for a very thoughtful review. I have a Pixel 3a and in my experience it is the best phone I have ever used. I don't need all the bells & whistles & extra cost of the 'flagship' models. The plastic body makes for a light phone that will not shatter from the impact of a fall to the ground. I think the Pixel 3a is the phone to have with regard to cost and quality.

My cousin is selling his 3a XL for $100. I'm going to get it, that's a steal just to have a pixel camera. Storage isn't an issue since I still have my current phone that holds all my music and movies. With photos I'll just take advantage of Google Photos.
I'm using the regular Pixel 3a. I disagree that the XL is better because of a bigger screen. That's the reason I would not buy the XLit's too big.
For the price of a 12 pro max You could probably get lots of 3a xl
im using my pixel 3a for almost 2 years now (got it for 299$ brand new from the google store on a 100$ discount), great camera and battery life and performance is more than enough for daily usage.
I enjoy my Pixel 3a XL. I'm Streaming it to my TV via my 3a. Good review and I enjoy my phone and the software features especially.
Still love my 3a. Greatest phone I have ever experienced. I'd love a 5 next year maybe.

i had pixel 3a xl since 1 year now almost 2 year :D
I "upgraded" to one of these last year and it was hands down the worst phone I've used in a long time. It took one merciful 3ft fall to shatter the screen and end my time with it. The only positive review I can give it is that is has great battery life; I know this because for at least a week after the screen shattered it would occasionally make notification or alarm sounds from the box I had put it in. I thought I had turned it off, I tried but it just wouldn't die, it was mocking me for my hubris in thinking that I had found a good found at a decent value.
I used this 3a xl for 6 mos. Is it still a good choice in 2020? Yes, at reduced prices it's still a very good deal? That with Google's computational photography is still a great deal. Stock android also works quite well!
Why you wouldnt take a Samsung is easy? No updates after you buy it! Pixel gives 3 years of updates! Yes it isnt the fastest phone but does what 99% of us do every day very well!

It was 480 new last year, that's not cheap. I highly doubt you can find a brand new device for $200 off. You must be quoting a used price but nobody wants to buy a used phone. If you think 480 is cheap please cash app me $100 I need it.
