Just bought another one on 02.01.2021. My OnePlus 7T is good, but for $130, a smaller size, and a better camera, I'm making the jump back to the 2XL. The OP7T is too big. Only 1080p, and I have numerous bugs. And yea, 2XL may have lost Google's support, but it has so many developers backing it. Plus, OP already forgot about the 7T RIP
Still using this as a secondary device in 2021. just lost updates, so I'm considering Lineage, but it's incredible just how fast and capable this phone still is.

2021 and the pixel 2 is still my favourite phone. "designed and developed by HTC and LG respectively, and marketed by Google" Wikipedia. And it shows. Look at Google's offerings today. No competition. Google really missed the boat.

For people that are sad about the Pixel 2 support ending, with Android 10 and onward, you can get Play System Updates still (sent by Google to every Android 10 device), that contain security updates and bug fixes. You can continue to use your Pixels 2 just fine people

Ordered a refurbished pixel first generation 32 gig the other day. Package just came in, accidently sent me a 64 gig pixel 2. Oh no! :p
I know uploads have been a bit slow lately but I'm hoping to turn that around, and today we start that with looking at the Google Pixel 2 XL- a phone that as criticized as it was for its display might just be a steal at around $100 in 2020.
Why does the Pixel 3xl notch gets mocked so much when A. It wasn't really all that much bigger or different than other notched phones of the day and B. It's still considerably smaller than even modern iphone notches that never get mentioned at all.

Just got the xl. Power button doesn't function the way it's supposed too. I don't like the rounded edges on sides of screen. I have thick meaty hands. The curved screen causes all kinds of typos, unless I type one handed like I am now. I ordered a 3a xl, but they sent one that still has the fingerprint lock from previous owner, even though it was advertised as mint condition

I have a pixel 2 xl. I could never get over how dull the screen was even after they came out with the vivid mode. It just never looked right
The blue tint was the "tech community" being a bunch of babies. The real issue with the screen is the overly green white balance, 2.4 gamma, graininess and severe black crushing. I have the phone and those issues stand out way more than any blue shifting. I was really upset with this phone as it was one headphone jack and decent screen away from literally to this day still being an incredible phone.
I have the 2xl and 4xl thinking about the 5 for the new year, idk wait for the 6‍♂️⁉️

You can get a Pixel 3 for a few more but it’s gonna be better
This is not a bad review but what you said in the video was completely wrong. Pixel's video is the 2nd best after iPhone and camera is also really good in 2020.

Still using my Pixel 2 and plan on it for at least a few more years. Now that Google has officially dropped support after this December update I will be looking at custom roms/root which is something I haven't done since my Note 3. Pixel 2 was/is a great phone.

I still have a google pixel 2 (standard) and honestly it runs super well
I repaired it, just because it is still awesome now in Jan 21. it still fast with 11. Also new cooling paste cranked up the speed.( Snappy again)
I absolutely love the design on the Pixel 2 XL. The dual front facing stereo speakers are cool af! And also the camera. It's basically the same as the one on the Pixel 5 (!), So it's still one of the best cameras till this day! If you install CStark's GCam mod you'll get 90% of the experience and quality found on the Pixel 5. Pretty amazing if you ask me! The biggest problem of this phone since its launch, imo, is that it only has 4 GB of RAM. If it had 6 or 8 GB I'm sure it would perform amazingly well even nowadays!

For those who want to keep this device o suggest you to do a clean install of the last stock image, unlock bootloader and install Evolution X 5.1 ROM and you'll get a smoother 3 years old phone.

Mine is running great still.
2 or 3 year old flagship is always better to have than getting a budget phone.

Made me sell my iPhone quick af. Its overall a Beast with probably the best Design ever made (the white/black Edition) Im gonna use mine till it dies & since its factory new i hope to make it till 2025 with it.
